What's up my sisters and brothers in scale. In the previous video, I built Achzarit APS from Meng in a 1:35th scale. It is such a lovely kit. After adding textures along with an improvised stowage, the model should be painted. This episode is all about painting and shading.

I haven't built a 35 scale armoured vehicle for many years and this video has reminded me how much I enjoyed it. All the model shops have gone here. I enjoyed watching this thanks.

Stowage on the roof of the rear ramp? Might be too much for the ramp jacks? That bit lifts up I think? Might be wrong 😮 Great model btw :)

Well I don't feel enough confident yet to build vignettes or dioramas - that's not my cup of tea. Nevertheless, I have New Year resolution to do make some attempts :)

hi how you iv seen on few vids yours you used AK 3RD GEN PAINTS MY PROBLEM I HAVE IS MIX RATIO BETWEEN THERE GLOSS VARNISH CLEAR AND THERE TINNER 3RD GEN BOTH AK I DONE 5050 MIX HALF AND HALF OF EACH AND ITS MILKY IS THIS NORMAL OR DO I NEED TO ADD MORE TINNER TO MAKE IT MORE TRANSPARENT SEE THREW CAUSE I GOT PAINTS A WHILE IV WELL SHAKING THEM BEFOR AND AFTER MIXING THEM 5050 OR 1TO1 WHAT EVER PEOPLE PREFER TO SAY BUT I SEE YOUR USING GLOSS VARNISH IN THIS COOL VIDEO ON ARMOUR TANK BUILD SI HAD TO ASK YOU AS YOUR THE MAN I SEE WHO'S GETTING GREAT RESULTS FROM THE AAK I ONLY STARTED TO USE THEM I USED TAMIYA UNTIL CAME TO THE GLOSS VARNISH FOR GOOD SHINE SO I'M HOPING U CAN HELP ME WITH THE RITE MIX RATIO WITH THE AK thinners I was given to use to tin the AK Varnish gloss

Hello :) I have learned that it does not matter if you use regular paints or varnishes - the thinning ratio is at least seven parts of the thinner. The thinner is good to add to the color - that's my latest statement, not to spray separately on the model. The classic XF-22 or any acrylic-lacquer varnish is still irreplaceable because it is more robust than the water-based one. It's beneficial when you use decal solutions or wethering chemicals.
