Some of you probably know the Merkava 2D series I published couple months ago but here you have full build guide with almost all aspects of creating this superb miniature. In this video, I tell a story how to build the ultimate tank in 1/35 scale using Takom 2133.
You can find in this tutorial how to make anti slip surface, handpainted markings, standard weathering procedures and details in colors. All this techniques can be used in IDF tanks like Merkava or other military vehicles.

I feel like doing link in link tracks is on par with the aftermarket motorcycle chains i build for 1/12 scale bikes. 145 something tiny pins, then another 140 something links, then flip over for another 140 links.... Come out looking stupid good, but its usually an all day or 2 day event lol.

Very beautiful build! I just have question. When u apply pigments directly in the surface of the tank without any binders will they stay there forever or will they fall off over time?

@coldemonspl mmm sorry but I don't think so...I'm 41 and no longer serve in the army and the pictures I have are from training (one of them is particularly good ...took a shot while it was firing the cannon). I remember some painting was off showing it's red color of the chasis)

What kind of wires do you use to tie down antennas thanks

As I remember it was 0,1 mm wire or some kind of flexible and stretchable modeling rope :)

Sztos...ale tak patrząc po dodatkach to 1/3 to cena modelu a 2/3 dodatki ale...tu widać jak bardzo podnoszą one miodność samego modelu. Naprawdę szacun No i muszę powiedzieć że wiele rozwiązań w warsztacie zapożyczyłem.

No tak to jest, że dodatkowe koszta przerastają wartość samego plastikowego zestawu. Ale jesli model ma wyglądać, to trzeba się z tym liczyć. :)
