They are real citizens of our country....though they are disabled their passion of winning medals is more than winning a cricket world cup.... Instead of encouraging our cricketers , it is best to encourage these people...
Its kind of awkward that Paralympic indian athletes are better than the olympic indian athletes, they showed their true potential i enjoyed watching every medal events that india always succeeded in one of them.
Our para athletes have done better than our actual ones. With the exception of Neeraj Chopra, no one else was a gold medal contender in the Summer Olympics. But our para athletes have bought more glory ❤❤❤
LOL.. Para Olympics are the Olympics for the paralysed, the greatest sporting event for a para athlete. What makes you believe its not as big as the Olympics? Is it 'coz your uncle Sam (who gets demolished every para event to China and UK) says so? Avani Lekhara and Sumit Antil would OWN your celebs like Bhaker and Chopra every day of the week, like for like. These are world record holders in their divisions unlike some self proclaimed legends huffing & puffing their way through a Bronze and signing million dollar contracts through PRs thereafter.
Hats off to all medalists for making us so proud . Just to watch you perform was hair raising and inspirational . Wish the society and the media gives all our athletes the respect that they deserve ❤❤❤❤
As someone who is a student of rehabilitation profession, i am just thinking about the whole medical and allied health care team specially therapists behind these athletes like how much they might have done a lot of work because if there is no intact human body then so many things change, its difficult to make an intervention plan.
He might be but please no need to bring down one athlete to praise other. Neeraj has never had a below top 3 performance. He has consistently thrown above 87-88. I know Sumit is WR holder and absolutely awesome but still no need to bring Neeraj down
The regular contingent can never get 5 Golds & 19 total even in their dreams! I hope these chaps are celebrated at par with the Bhaker's and Chopra's if they repeat the 2021 miracle this time.
