I am Sikh from the UK. The sikhs that have come to study and work here in the UK have taken over the Gurudwaras and all sort of Gunda giri is going on. They have removed pictures of Sikh Gurus and put up pictures of bindrawala and amritpal and their gang members. This is the case in 95% gurudwaras because they gang up with local sikh gunda sikhs. What gives them that right. They are spoiling the name of the sikh community. And they behave similar outside the gurudwara. This is a world wide Punjab sikh problem. Will they ever become civilised.

I've seen this in a Walmart plaza in Richmond Hill. Speeding in the parking lot in circles, in a Toyota Corolla with the loud Punjabi music blaring at full blast as though it's the next best thing since sliced bread. There were families with kids all trying to hold on to their kids so they don't get run over. That's just reckless behaviour. My parents have been in Canada since 90s and i was born and grew up here. We are not an Indian by birth nor parents are Indians. Would love to give you some feedback. I have seen Canada going through drastic changes . Over the years, Canada always maintained inclusivness, open society and most importantly welcoming the immigrants. The problem became real when Canada lost the sight by welcoming large numbers of non-skilled immigrants and bringing influx of refugees to this country. That is without having to study and analyze whether Canada can in fact host such immigrants. We now have not only house shortages but also job shortages as well. Our children who are locals cannot find a job because you see the international students lining up for the same jobs. And yes, once one of these international students are hired as a manager, they only bring their friends and rommates to their place of work. The point of international student was to study and going back to your country of origin so you can grow your own local economies. Hence they face hate and negative reaction from local Canadians.
The sad thing is till Canada's living standard lowers to the level of India this mass immigration will continue . Only when that equilibrium is achieved that people will stop coming.

They bought alcohol from duty free and opened the bottle and started to drink in the international flight. This is not legal, but they made everyone in the flight uncomfortable, they themselves stated in the video that people in the flight are feeling uncomfortable and started to laugh. If this culter is being taken to Canada what will happen? They are popular youtubers.

When I arrived in the Canad as immigrant in 1972 Indian were well respected among all Canadians but recently I found with new comers from India thinks once here they can any thing they like. My experience with young immigrant student is very disappointing. Some of these students think they now own this country and do whatever they like.

And yes, Canadians do feel that Indians do not keep their surroundings and houses clean. I've faced this on a personal level. Gursahib ji, u r so on point. I'm from Bangladesh but u know ppl consider all South Asians as indians. I lived more than 6 months in Surrey and then moved from there. The things u pointed out are so true.. In the name of being 'proud desi' sometimes ppl cross the limit as well. Seen number of times in public transport, desis dnt respect old or disabled, violating rules of public places, properties etc. Being comfortable as a desi and being rude and disrespectful is two different things and there is a clear line we better mind that. My Indian housemate used to wash his bottom with water and made the entire bathroom wet. Then we told him not to, then suddenly from the next day, the entire house started to stink like poop. Later we found out that he started to wipe with tissue, but instead of flushing them, he used to keep those wiped tissues in the trashcan under the basin, under the kitchen sink, trashcan in his room, literally everywhere in the house. God knows why. These people are unreal.
Why? Jet sprays not available in Canada? Why white Canadians not accommodative of good practices from other cultures? This stubborness of Western people is also one reason why they are also hated in non West countries. If in a non western country there are like 10 Yankees visiting a place then that place should be accomodative enough and provide Americanised environment to those 10 yanks but not the other way around. Sardarji, as far as I know today's Canada is full of Sardarjis. So can I conclude Sardarjis are solely responsible for defaming the Indian communities in Canada. In the USA majority of the Indian communities are hindus from different provinces of India. Indians earned respects in this country. I, being a hindu person, stayed for 5 years in Indonesia with dignity. I never experienced hatred from the local people. They always welcomed me.

Very well said, we need people like you talking about some new immigrants from India. Being a person of Indian origin myself, I feel embarrassed when I see our people behaving in an uncivilized manner. I have seen people in groups behaving in unacceptable ways, that I get intimidated around them.

Canadians can see that we are not respecting our own Indian national flag( spitting on it, burning it and what not), they can see that we are fighting with each other, we are not united and we are openly hating our country India. I agree with the canadians here. Same problem is here in Uttarakhand where people from other states have destroyed the peaceful nature of the state and increased crime rates.
