I visited Sicily, Palermo, Italy for the first time a few months ago. It has nice people and their lifestyle is less similar to Europe. The only problem is that it is not clean. Generally, Italy should work a lot on cleanliness
Born and raised in Palermo. I apologize on behalf of each good citizens about the dirty streets. In 30 years of beeing alive I've never thrown anything on the streets. Unfortunately there are many uncivilized people.
I visited Palermo end of May. Before I decided my journey, I have seen this video and quote expected to enjoy the street food. However, the actual situation I have seen is much worse than this video. I fully agree with your point of view.
