They scored the same amount of points on similar efficiency. Not to mention these are all B and C Tier teams. They will need the best Ishikawa to have a shot against the best teams.

​@@raishin6095not just talking bout dis game but overall since the start of volleyball season this year. Im a huge yuki fan since he started playing professionally but he really does have a tendency to choke under really tight games. Ran seems to handle pressure better and even if his offense isnt good at times he makes up for it by playing better defense. I understand though why yuki and RJN are like this - i dont think theyre being complacent, i think theyre overly nervous since theyre playing at home in front of their countrymen and vying for an olympic berth nonetheless. Coming off a bronze medal finish at the last vnl and gold medal finish at the last AVC, the expectations are so high at the moment it must be really putting a toll on their mental state. I really hope everyone gets into a better state of mind leading to the next remaining games - they really need everyone to be in tiptop shape both physically and mentally.

@@drjowjow I really don’t get where are you coming from. Yuki was the best player on Japan on both VNL and AVC, and he played the best when the best was required. I like Ran, he’s a solid player, but he ain’t no Ishikawa

@@drjowjowif your are talking about this QOT, I will agree with you that ran is more stable, but this whole year? no , yuki still better or should we say more stable than ran. Just look when they play in AVC against Qatar, it's Yuki who bring the Japan team to level up their game. In VNL by statistic Yuki is leading or top 5 in most of the category, receive, spike, service, i think his dig and block also in top 10 data.

France as host of the Olympics. so they do not take part in this qualification. they have received allocated tickets as hosts

I think they still will qualify even they don’t make it to the top two. The other way you can qualify is through rankings and they’re in the top 5

​@@emanuelrodriguez-santos360 yes but that doesn't prove that Japan will qualify. If Japan is able to maintain its ranking in fifth position until June 2024, then they will qualify for the Olympics. considering that ranking below Japan is still Iran
