We use a term in Turkey: "Lightining face" which is said for religious people whose face are realy lightning because of the light of Allah, because of innocentnes, politeness, love etc. I try to use this light to be handsome and advice my daughter to use this to be beautiful.
I don't know if this situation only happens in Malaysia, but some muslim guy, mostly middle aged guy always have like a smeared black, sometimes dot, sometimes look like it just smeared on the forehead. But it's black or ashy to say the least. Most people believe it happen because the person is a very religious and always sujood for a long time and happens to make their forehead darker. Idk if it was a legit thing or only happens on malaysian guy
Just adding another perspective, there's a hadith about this: "That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear and between the two of them are doubtful [or ambiguous] matters about which not many people are knowledgeable. Thus, he who avoids these doubtful matters certainly clears himself in regard to his religion and his honour. But he who falls into the doubtful matters falls into that which is unlawful like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Verily every king has a sanctuary and Allah’s sanctuary is His prohibition. In the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if it be sound, all the body is sound and which, if it be diseased, all the body is diseased. This part of the body is the heart”.

I think Korean Skincare products are too tame for hot weather country and most of their beauty cream and moisturizers are too dewy and watery which quite tragic if you live in a scorching hot country like Malaysia. I prefer Malaysia's brand such as Shahirah and Safi. They did wonder to my skin. Since it made in Malaysia, They are very suitable for a hot weather because they're not that watery and oily. But the night cream usually more oily because to prevent our skin to dehydrate during sleep because most of us always turn our ac on.
