EmperorTigerstar Korea has long history and rich its own culture. Just you do not know Korea very well, because Korean last dynasty Chosen closed it's borders and unfortunately annexed before setting deep diplomatic relationships with western countries. That is why Korea is not well-known country comparing with China or Japan.

The video was 9/10, but there are some wrong points: in the Hyojong and Hyeonjong period, the factions were not so important; the discussion about the Daedong Act was not affected by factions. The moment factions stated a zero-sum game was the Sukjong period, and in the Yeongjo and Jeongjo period the factions were weak; there were only Noron ajd Namin left and and they were all controled by the king.

Please let us know in the future that Joseon is a country in the past that the world knows. 조선의 역사와 나라의 쇠퇴까지 설명해주셔서 감사합니다. 한국인으로서 이 영상을 보니 외국에서도 조선이라는 나라를 알고있다니 자랑스럽고 존경스럽습니다. 앞으로도 조선이라는 나라가 세계가 아는 과거 아시아의 나라임을 앞으로도 널리 알려주세요.

See how the Joseon dynasty of Korea (1392 - 1910) went from a prosperous nation that led Korea through its golden age to a broken nation ridden with poverty and corruption. -Just waiting for those "Shikminsagwan" comments.- EDIT: Something I should've said but omitted for the sake of run time: King Heonjong was vehemently anti-Andong Kim (sorry grandma) and sent a lot of their clan members on exile, he really didn't like them. But they didn't go anywhere because there were lots of them.

붕당정치가 폐단이었다기보다, 사대주의로 인한 자주국가의 의지 상실. 외부와의 소통을 등한시 하고, 자신만이 문명국가라는 생각에 빠진것이 실수였죠.
@bongsunhwa
@bongsunhwa 5 лет назад

I watched "Love in The Moonlight" in 2016. At that time I still didn't too pay attention with the Royal families' history. Lately, I watched that drama again after finished Mr. Queen 3 times (lol). Okay, "Love in th Moonlight" the story of Prince Hyeomyeong. I didn't realize that his father was King Sunjo, and the Queen in that drama is Queen Sunwoon. No wonder that she is also evil hahahaha. Well, the relationship between Prince Hyongmyeong and Hong RaOn (Hong Gyeong Rae's daughter was really forbidden wow haha). PLUS! When Prince Hyeomyeong/Lee Yeong was forced to marry Jo Hayeon from Pungyang Jo, I didn't realize that Jo Hayon would be Jo Daebi Mama in Mr. Queen, and her son is King Heonjong wowwwww🥺👏👏👏 Now I know the reason why Andong Kim and Pungyang Jo were not having a good relationship..... aaaaaaa I love these connectionssss!❤️ but still I love how through Mr.Queen drama, we can see the otherside of Cheoljong and Cheorin (well, even though it is a fictional). but stillll Kim Jungyun and Shin Hyesun are amaziiiiiingggg❤️❤️ THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!! Correction, lowest class was Cheong-min but they weren't slaves but tax payers who worked at farms and trades and skilled labors. Nobi was slave class owned by Yangban or State. Also, ruling clan wasn't that powerful, most of powers were owned by factions of top class Yangbans thus King had no real power in Joseon Dynasty. Tax wasn't paid by currency, only Yangban was rich enough to pay tax with currency, commoners paid tax in grains and fabrics they have produced. Each household had to pay up tax in grains, labor to state, and fabrics. My great grand mother was from Andong Kim clan and her family was left almost nothing after Japan killed off her families.

Hangul sign was invented by king Sejoung in 1446. Hangul is the youngest writing of all over the world. King Sejoung decleard, " I made the Hangul for casual stupid people." So Yangbang peers ignored hangul after king died. Hangul had been forgotten among casual people. Yangbang peers had never used Hangul in stead of Kanji-chinese character. Until 1910, hangul had lost the existence. But from Japanese annexation of Korea, Japan built 5500 schools and Japan issued hangul textbook with kanji as well as Japanese book. So now Koreans can write and read hangul. But Korea abolished Kanji in 1960s, Korean can not understand Kanji. If Japan abolished Kanji, only Hiragana news paper is like kindergaden kid's writing.

korean doesnt need kanji. unlike japanese korean writting system can create a lot of combinations, thus created no matching. for exmaple, in english, the word kind has a lot of different meanings. korean doesnt really have those problems. and kanji isnt really important these days. its very hard to learn, too. It would be ironic if the hardest writing system and the easiest writing system are used mixed up

There are tons of Hangeul script during 15th century to 19th century remained and displayed in every museum. Even Sillan Hyanchal or Idu scripts dates back way before Katakana/Hiragana -which your ancestors 'Pakuri'ed- existed. Degenerated people like you tend to deny one's existence only because they didn't(want to) see it. It's like covering its own eyes in a murder scene and pretending to be nothing happened.

Before Japan's annexation of the Korean Peninsula, over 95 % korean people were slaves, 75 % were illiteracy and korea didn't have even currency system. The Chosen Sotoku-fu emancipated slaves and made many schools in the Korean Peninsula. But now employment opportunities in korea are limited and pay poorly, they are like slaves in the Yi Dynasty Korea period.

Why do Koreans have a name of Chinese name? Before Mongolian left from the peninsula Korean had Ural-Altaic name as well as Japanese. When Mongolia withdrew Korea Zhong-china occupied Korea. So almost Koreans changed their name to Chinese name. Now Koreans have Chinese name. Originally, Korean had 2or3 piece of chinese character family name. But now Koreans have a 1 piece of chinese character name,for example,Kim, I-, Che, Hyong, Hong. Koreans sidle up to China always.

Original Korean name was like Manchulian name or Japanese name. they had Ural-Arteic name. Ural-Arteic name is structured with long words. And every family names have each meaning, and first name is as well. When Baekje kingdom fought against Tung-china, Silla alliance in AD663, the commander's name was 鬼室福信 Kishitu fukushin. He wanted reinforcement from Japan. Japan sent 4000 troops and 2000 ships. Because Baekju was established by Japan's support.
