Hi thanks for the video. I just booked our trip for July 16 to July 22 flying from DFW. Got us a basic room total $4830.57 now I will have to pay for checking bags and ride from the airport too the resort. Our family of 4 2 kids 14 and 11 how was your experience there? And tips and tricks for us?

Hi! Definitely download the RIU app so you can see all the inclusive all day activities and shows available. Attend as much as you can… they’re fun! Also catamarans are available for free at the beach if you’re into that..you just have to sign a waiver. Our favorite restaurants are the Kulinarium and the buffet Moctezuma. Make sure to plan your dinner at the specialty restaurants early bc it’s first come first serve and they will give you a beeper while you wait so you can hangout at velvet or wherever in the resort even at the buffet. Our favorite bar is the Velvet 😊. They also have onsite photographers if you want professional pictures… they’re really good! No obligation to buy but when you see them you’ll probably want to buy it. If there’s any other specific questions you may have we’ll try to answer it. Enjoy your vacation!

If you booked this resort I believe rui latino is adult only and all guest must be 18 + so please check in with the facilities to insure your 11 and 14 year olds don’t get turned away

did you find the elevator? and how was the other room?

Only stairs in the back. There was no elevator in the back where the Sea View rooms are for that side of the building. Two elevators are located in the front near the lobby so it 's very inconvenient if you're coming from the beach or the pools. The other building on the other side where the swim out rooms are have an elevator in the back and thats the other room we got the next day (which we like for the elevator and a better view) but 3 days out of 7 days we were there, the elevator was broken. We were there for 7 nights so we'll be posting more videos soon. thanks for watching.

It’s about an hour from the airport with the van. If you book directly with riu, airport transfer is included.

If they don’t have the room you paid for, you have the right to ask for an upgrade.

We thought so too, we even spoke with the manager. They have availability for upgrade but you will have to pay for the difference. So they just put 2 beds to make a king size bed and we transferred to another room the next day when it became available.

Hi! I hangers are provided. I guess they just forgot bc it’s newly opened. The next day we transferred to another room and there’s plenty of hangers (we’ll post the video soon). The safe should fit your laptop. We were able to fit our MacBook Pro and large iPad in the safe without any problem. Hope that helps!
