🇲🇽 Ep 5: Baja California - change of plans | Cycling from Vancouver to Patagonia

Here's the second part of my time cycling through Baja California. After a bad experience in the desert, I decided to create a route that combined the dirt roads of the Baja Divide bikepacking route with the more forgiving highways. Doing so allowed me to meet amazing people, crash my best friend's wedding and join Nuria and Miguel's van for a few days.
As always, thanks for watching and supporting my journey, it's amazing how accompanied I feel even when riding solo. I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your adventures in such a unique, poetic, positive, beautiful and powerful combination. Love the narration, the music, the details, your joy... If you ever cycle closer to home - Portugal (Lisbon) - look me up in Warmshowers. I love riding in Portugal, specially the interior closer to the Spanish border, but have to admit that those landscapes are one of a kind. Keep it up. Recent subscriber... still have a lot of your videos to watch... and having seen a lot of other bike travelers channels over the years, you're definitely one of the best for me. Saludos!

Wow, thanks!!!! So glad you liked the video!! I’ve been going to Portugal for yeaaars since I was a little kid -on van trips, with my parents and then alone! I haven’t cycled there but will definitely add it now to the bucket list. And of course let you know if I do! Also, learning portuguese is one of my goals for 2024 haha so maybe we’ll be able to falar em portuges by then!

Thank you Clara. You’re very true and poetic. I’m 68 and I will ride Baja in March, landing in Loreto and trying to combine the highway with small parts of the divide. I wish I would know which part of the trail you did to follow your path. Thanks !
