moved here as an exchange student and I completely agree. i enjoy myself here more than back home in Canada, its such a beautiful country with amazing friendly people

Alejandro Déctor I was born in the US and my parents are from Aguascalientes and Guadalajara. I’ve really started to not like living in the US due to a lot of political and social pressures and the “need to grind” and constantly get money and success and things like that. The pace of life is too fast here. I’ve been thinking about moving to Mexico after graduating high school next month but my parents keep telling me I would be better off here. My main reasons are because it seems like the values and priorities in Mexico are very different (and better), and I’d like to perfect my Spanish (even though i’m fluent) and understand where I come from more while also living a different way of life. In your opinion, would it be a bad idea? In Mexico City, would it be hard for me to get a decent paying job with just a high school diploma while also being very fluent in English? Overall, would it be a hard transition? Anything/any information would be great!

Verenice Rodriguez In my personal opinion if you want to get a high paid job in Mexico you should get a degree in the US. Nothing too fancy just something that shows that you have the motivation and you’ve put the effort into learning something after finishing your mandatory education. My dad told me to get a degree and I could go to Mexico and work in places where they need English. Such as schools and airports. Again it’s only my opinion.

@@itxy4283 is not necessary to get a degree in the US, you can get one in Mexican schools like Politécnico or UNAM. I'm about to finish my junior high school in Politécnico and enter to UNAM. You can also learn English or any other languages by taking extra courses. To get well paid in México you just need a good curriculum, a good interview and look and approach the opportunities.

@@fernandaroger7589 the classes in Mexico are better in teaching than. The u.s I think.I know people who know more than me and I studied with good students in the u.s and as long as you show skills it doesn't matter where you studied.

wow just turned 20 this year. it's inspiring seeing all these people around the world who do this because where I'm from not a lot of people are into this idea of exploring and expanding the self and acquiring new experiences. living in another country is not a realistic option for me now but i do want to be able to do this in the near future. i guess I'm writing this to say thank you for the boost of inspiration and energy today. power to all the explorers of the world ✊

Orion Star.....what a heck you have against Mexico? Lots of foreigners have moved and continue moving to Mexico in the last 10 years for a reason. Mexico is unique and amazing and full of opportunities for those who are willing to risk the risk....so stfu!

As a parent, I always tell my kids to work in something that makes them happy and fulfill, if school and having a career makes you happy by all means do it. But is school is not your thing there's is plenty of opportunities in life. I have 2 boys one loves school, the other one not so much, whatever they want to do is fine with me, the only thing I will not support is laziness.

same!! I ran away from home to join the military service for a while and make some money out of it. nobody has to decide for you it doesn't mean that I have my parents but I am not going to live their life (imaginary life)but now my parents accepted me never give up run away trust me

Oh super cool! My single biggest piece of advice for living with the French: learn the language. If you speak French so many doors will open up for you and it will be a 1,000 times easier to make friends and meet people. Good luck!

I'm actually in a very similar place (24, quit job, etc.), and the answer I'm going with to this question is inspired by both Nath and Gary V: First, figure out how you best communicate - some people are good on video, some people have voices that come through nicely, and some people excel in written words. Of those three, one is invariably going to stand out, so build on that. This step shouldn't take long as most of us developed along at least one of these lines early in life. Having done this, you'll be able to determine what platforms will be best for releasing/promoting your content in ways that are specific to each. Next, identify where you're at and where you'd like to be. This might be a career path, a hobby, or anything in between, but the important thing here is to develop some semblance of a plan. Your plan might even be just to try different things in order to figure out what you're into. This might take a day or two as you want to be sure that you're being authentic to yourself in whatever you choose to do. Finally, start documenting the process in the way that makes most sense to you (again: video, audio, written). You can get creative with how you do it and what gets released, but the most important thing here seems to be consistency. Don't be afraid of making the perfect content, as over time you'll get into a flow that works for you, and it will naturally evolve to become more refined over time. Just get started, and have fun with it! I hope this helps, and I wish you well on your journey 😊thanks for getting me to think about this so that maybe I can follow my own advice lol

The Truest Life ™ yes....go to school and learn something. Creating content is the new useless people job. Is not a real job. Do something meaningful with your life, not something easy. Become a researcher, cure cancer, solve the world food problems, do something that gives you strength of character and grow a back bone, stop been a wimp, become a leader, the world is full of softy clowns. Nobody needs your “content” unless you are actually have achieved something. You guys are going about this all wrong. If anything of the “content “ you want to create does not stand the test of time...don’t do it. Ask yourself if in 2000 years your content will be relevant, will it speak to the people then? The great content creators of world will be remember even after 100s of years have passed. READ THE CLASSICS, READ HISTORY, THE ROMANS, THE GREEKS, READ CONTENT THAT HAS WISDOM IN IT. .
