Other reasons for why I'm moving to Mexico that I didn't mention in the video: I have always had an affinity for Mexican culture, I love how hard-working and warm Mexican people are. Also it's still the same continent as my family and the cost of living is a lot lower. Beyond that, I just picked Mexico because of a feeling.

Alejandro Déctor I was born in the US and my parents are from Aguascalientes and Guadalajara. I’ve really started to not like living in the US due to a lot of political and social pressures and the “need to grind” and constantly get money and success and things like that. The pace of life is too fast here. I’ve been thinking about moving to Mexico after graduating high school next month but my parents keep telling me I would be better off here. My main reasons are because it seems like the values and priorities in Mexico are very different (and better), and I’d like to perfect my Spanish (even though i’m fluent) and understand where I come from more while also living a different way of life. In your opinion, would it be a bad idea? In Mexico City, would it be hard for me to get a decent paying job with just a high school diploma while also being very fluent in English? Overall, would it be a hard transition? Anything/any information would be great!

@itxy4283
@itxy4283 5 лет назад
Verenice Rodriguez In my personal opinion if you want to get a high paid job in Mexico you should get a degree in the US. Nothing too fancy just something that shows that you have the motivation and you’ve put the effort into learning something after finishing your mandatory education. My dad told me to get a degree and I could go to Mexico and work in places where they need English. Such as schools and airports. Again it’s only my opinion.
@fernandaroger7589
@fernandaroger7589 5 лет назад
@@itxy4283 is not necessary to get a degree in the US, you can get one in Mexican schools like Politécnico or UNAM. I'm about to finish my junior high school in Politécnico and enter to UNAM. You can also learn English or any other languages by taking extra courses. To get well paid in México you just need a good curriculum, a good interview and look and approach the opportunities.

He's was motivated mostly for financial (he's now in his 70's) reasons and sought to eliminate many stateside concerns regarding growing older. He's a writer, musician, actor, crazy dancer and singer. I hoped he'd change his mind but that's not why he did. I'm impressed with your bravery and open positive attitude! You know I think having the possibility to travel is one of the best gift nature can give to us. Learning a new culture, tradition is so interesting and have a huge impact on us. It's true that you're losing money, but it's really worth it, because in reality we can't buy experiences, knowledges and thoughts that we have. The wrost thing that can happen to someone is ignorance. I'm happy for you because you want to discover and learn new things, whether it's bad or not. You dare trying new things out, know the unknown,and the majority are too scary to get out of their comfort zone. And for that, you have all my respects! 😁 👏🏾👏🏾

Love ya. You remind me of me twenty or so years ago. Took a chance and moved to a very small village in Costa Rica, and living as a local. Worth it. Clarity of mind / awareness also one of my main things, and following my own GPS ended up in this place, and after sixteen years still not regretting it, even if sometimes times were rough, and seemed never ending. Never felt more alive. Will be following you, see how you get through. With full faith in you, because if you are focused on the right thing(s), all will be an experience to never forget. Bless up.

I've watched a handful of your videos today, this is the one I connected with the most. I love your adventurous, curious, and can-do attitude. And your outlook on the future and its uncertainty is something I needed to hear. Have fun in Mexico and good luck!

I would like to see content about the whole process of moving into another country , settling in, finding a place to stay ... how does the whole nomadic lifestyle work?

Good luck on your journey Nath! We have to try, experience and learn before we can judge whether e.g. traveling, cooking, vlogging is something we like or dislike. Just remember that there is no loss in the path of life experience. You can only win.

I discovered your channel through the Italian learning one. Keep up the good work. Me and my best friend are also on a quest to become digital nomads. It's really cool to see how many people there are that are into minimalism and digital nomad culture. I think this will be one of the defining features of our generation.

First, I wish you had decide to live in Brazil instead of Mexico, just to see your reaction to my country. However, what an amazing choice you did. I've been to Mexico twice and it is really an amazing country, one of the most awesome countries I've ever had the pleasure to visit. As for your project, I just started following your channel/social media but have zero doubts that you're going to grow both as a person and as a filmmaker/youtuber. You have that something to make it, Nath. Best of luck!

I’m on a similar path, at 24 yrs old. I quit my dead-end job to focus on finding my purpose, have been wanting to start creating content. Any advice?
@TFBCountryBoy
@TFBCountryBoy 5 лет назад
I'm actually in a very similar place (24, quit job, etc.), and the answer I'm going with to this question is inspired by both Nath and Gary V: First, figure out how you best communicate - some people are good on video, some people have voices that come through nicely, and some people excel in written words. Of those three, one is invariably going to stand out, so build on that. This step shouldn't take long as most of us developed along at least one of these lines early in life. Having done this, you'll be able to determine what platforms will be best for releasing/promoting your content in ways that are specific to each. Next, identify where you're at and where you'd like to be. This might be a career path, a hobby, or anything in between, but the important thing here is to develop some semblance of a plan. Your plan might even be just to try different things in order to figure out what you're into. This might take a day or two as you want to be sure that you're being authentic to yourself in whatever you choose to do. Finally, start documenting the process in the way that makes most sense to you (again: video, audio, written). You can get creative with how you do it and what gets released, but the most important thing here seems to be consistency. Don't be afraid of making the perfect content, as over time you'll get into a flow that works for you, and it will naturally evolve to become more refined over time. Just get started, and have fun with it! I hope this helps, and I wish you well on your journey 😊thanks for getting me to think about this so that maybe I can follow my own advice lol

Just start, and see what works and what doesn't. It's not always easy (at least it hasn't been for me) but if it feels right you have to do it!

@orionstar6268
@orionstar6268 5 лет назад
The Truest Life ™ yes....go to school and learn something. Creating content is the new useless people job. Is not a real job. Do something meaningful with your life, not something easy. Become a researcher, cure cancer, solve the world food problems, do something that gives you strength of character and grow a back bone, stop been a wimp, become a leader, the world is full of softy clowns. Nobody needs your “content” unless you are actually have achieved something. You guys are going about this all wrong. If anything of the “content “ you want to create does not stand the test of time...don’t do it. Ask yourself if in 2000 years your content will be relevant, will it speak to the people then? The great content creators of world will be remember even after 100s of years have passed. READ THE CLASSICS, READ HISTORY, THE ROMANS, THE GREEKS, READ CONTENT THAT HAS WISDOM IN IT. .
