Having lived in Japan, Korea 🇰🇷, Kuwait 🇰🇼, Saudi Arabia, Marshall Islands 🇲🇭 🏝 and my favorite the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️. I was stationed at the old Clark Air Base (Angeles), Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️ back in 1991 at age 28. It was to me good then. I know now it is great. I am currently age 61,widower and all my children are grown now. My plan next year 2025, is to return and retire there. Eventually, I will utilize the American Military 🪖 Philippines 🇵🇭 sponsored SRRV program. Having a study income is the best for retirement in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I do not know everyone going to the Philippines to live. I just know I served my country America in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Now, time for my reward. Thank you for this video. GOD SPEED PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭.
Was in the P.I. last year for 6 weeks…… basically a reconnaissance trip. Clark AB brought back many great memories along with Angels. Will be relocating back within the next 6 months on a permanent basis. Peace/Cheers
Thank you for your service. 1990-1991? That's when the 🌋 erupted. I was a sophomore in Clark AB. My dad served in USAF during that time. I am a proud USAF brat, now a USAF retiree myself. I am going to PH next week for 3 months to see if I can survive the heat before committing to live there.
My choice is Province in the Island of Biri Northern Samar. Beautiful beach, less noisy, less pollution. I owned my small beach home in paradise. RET USAF, i will live a comfortable like.
I’m glad to hear you calling BGC as a “Paradise”. I’m a Fil-Am here in Las Vegas, and after living/worked in another country in addition to USA and with all the insanity going on here right now in our politics, the crazy immigration and the illegals crossing the border without being vetted and socio-economic issues, your video makes me reevaluate on retirement here in America. I love this beautiful country 🇺🇸 but you are absolutely right about your comparison about the crime rate here especially in big cities versus the beautiful culture and low crime rate we have there in the Phils.❤ And you are right, Philippines is not perfect but it has so much to offer as well. Thank you so much for your amazing videos. 😁🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Immigrants have been crossing the border into this country for hundreds of years. It’s only a problem now because stupid people listen to a loudmouth con artist spew his lies. The country is falling apart because there are too many gullible uneducated easily manipulated fools in this country.
The Philippines has a lot to offer if you have money to burn. That's why a lot of Americans wants to spend their Holidays in east Asian countries so they can stretch their dollars compared traveling to European countries. And amongst the east Asian countries the Philippines has the advantage because majority of the population can communicate well in English.
Starbucks here in Cali (as of May 2024) averages $6 - $8 dollars for a coffee drink...WTH! Last time I was at BGC, I stopped by Jamba Juice and got 3 medium smoothies...all for less than 10 bucks! That would be close to $30 at my home town in Cali. Time to move there! LOL!
I'm always excited to watch this channel.Happy people makes the world better and satisfiying to live.Make smile everyday you will be healthier.👍🥰❤️🙏🏻🇵🇭
I must say the video looked better when you switched from the go pro. Enjoy Manila and keep hydrated! It’s a scorcher over there! I watch your awesome vids everyday from California. Stay positive and keep doing what you do!
Welcome Brian to our paradise homeland, Pilipinas! I new subscriber here from Siquijor Island, Dumaguete, Just be kind and respectful to our people and with emphaty and generous to our less fortunate ones, surely We will support your channel and millions subscribers will come your way 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😊
I miss BGC I used to work there for Wells Fargo when they outsourced their IT Project management to the Philippines but we were laid off because they transferred their IT project management to India. I remember my work to start around 8 in the evening and ends up at 5 AM (our office is connected to the Uptown Mall). the BGC of five years ago since I was there has changed a lot based on the videos I'm seeing
Have any questions let me know ..... American here living and driving and loving it !!!! Since 2011 dayuuum it's been a long time. Love Uptown and BGC just like L.A and Orange County, Taco Bell is here hahahahahahahaha Cubao and Trinoma Mall if ever .........................but good to see U.S leaving U.S to the Philippines !!! Niceeeeeeeeeeeeee
Hi Brian, I am a new follower. I love watching your video. Thank you for sharing. You have a very good blog. I am watching in Washington state my husband name is Brian too. I am a Filipino and my husband is an American two years. We are going to retire in the Philippines. I love my country. I love my people living in the Philippines is cheaper. enjoy your stay and have a wonderful day😮
I still don't understand why the monsoon gets such a bad rap. The absolutely scary dark nimbus clouds and freaky downpours is what I love the most about the Philippines. I'm visiting every year now, it reminds me so much of my childhood.
First time on your channel and I’m subscribing. I’m going to make the big move out there. You’re right about the changes in the U.S. it will eventually be remedied but I like your calm demeanor. Thank you for the tour.
I stayed in BGC during my last visit. I am motivated to walk daily and fascinated about the place. I don’t understand why people call BGC not the real Philippines? So people there are not Filipinos? Maybe What they really mean is the other side of Philippines?
It eventually will. Already happening in Mexico and local Mexicans are getting priced out due to Americans flocking there. Just a matter of time Philippines will become less affordable.
Correct! Too many foreigners coming here will cause inflation and in turn will lead to xenophobia and calls by Filipinos to limit the entry of foreigners to the country.
I'm always fascinated when our fellow Americans refer to everything outside America as "3rd world". Im guessing they haven't been outside America. I plan on living outside America when I retire in 2026. Im debating on both Thailand and Philippines. I think I may spend 3-4 months in both countries and then make my way back to the States and turn around and repeat the process; we shall see
Funny you said that about the american dream. Glad to hear another American that's here say it because my latest video is about just that and it's getting a lot of angry Americans commenting lmao Good vlog too, Bonifacio global city looks nice of course. Also the pocket 3 is great, I've been using it on my channel upgraded from the pocket 2 and it's worth the investment for your videos. The 1 inch sensor makes a big difference and the color science is much better than the pocket 2
Yoi are just smart to stay away from here bro! You got a good life and sunshine and live like a king and no stress chasing time here to go fucking work!
Yup BGC's American vibe cities without the homeless..Right..but still prefer the province life me and my aussie partner building a beach house there. It's very expensive in Australia now specially Sydney. Not fun😢
Hi, Can you make a video how to move to USA from the Philippines? My girl friend is a Hospitality Graduate wants to begin her career in the USA. Thank you!
Not for nothing but wearing black in the tropical heat doesn't help. It absorbs heat making you feel even hotter...literally. LOL! Might want to opt wearing maybe white, if not other bright or light colored tees.
America today is nothing but chaos. Our rice festival last Saturday was close down by the police after it opened because there were people walking around with guns. The police said that the law prohibit them to question people with guns.
Just want to correct you that in the country side you get more free medication and consultation including the medicines compared to the city. You can also get free operations etc. What I want to say is you get more privileges living in the provinces. ✌️😘
