This little girl here is smarter than adult people who happens to know nothing about appreciating the nature. Story you can be the ambassador of young children in Philippines and educate on how to preserve, clean and promote our own gem. I admire the parenting done here...kudos to your family. Banig (filipino) is a native mat (that can be rolled) common in most places in Asia. Can be made from plastic, rattan, pandan leaves, or bamboo leaves. In Philippines, they use it to lay on the beach instead of a blanket or on wooden floors. In China, they place this over the mattress during summer so it won't feel hot from the foam mattress when they sleep. Or they just remove the mattress and replace it with the mat.

Soon you will enjoy the glorious spring in the U.K., beautiful flowers, birds, trees. You can keep palm trees and sea, they get boring after a while, too much heat. Nowhere to hike or walk your dogs, no mountains, rivers and lakes. It is lovely for few weeks hol for sure, but can’t contend with Europe

Banig = woven pandan leaf mats. Traditionally used like a tatami. They were also patched tpgether to make ancient ship sails.

Banig is a handwoven mat you can use to just sit or lay down to sleep. We use it when we have picnics too.

Good thing you are aware of that mixed wave,there is a rip current underneath coming from where you were(having snacks and also the opposite side)then then you have a current coming from the stream,so that is like a washing machine that is creating those side waves.

By God's grace I have the privileged to visit Sunderland England. Well being a Filipino I used to convert British pound to peso everytime we eat out. And by going places I can't help to notice that even the price of fish and chips can go from £12 - £20 per person without drinks. Sometimes when we eat at a restaurants I am so conscious of the price and tend to choose the cheapest kind which by the way costs around £30-£50 per person for a complete meal. My daughter told me not to convert but I can't help it.

May I suggest to buy a small, packable tent that you can carry so you can use it to lay on the beach when it's very sunny. We've done it and my kids actually had a nice nap! Another option are beach chairs with umbrellas. Living in paradise, I would leave the tent and chairs in my car all the time!

During easter there is a huge crowd at catangnan bridge with lots of food stalls at the bridge and if you look down below the bridge lots of lots of garbage plastic and plastic bottles from the crowd, LGU should not allowed food stalls by the bridge.

Did you give the restaurant your containers? [In Thailand] Recently I saw a diner walk to her car and come back with a handful of Tupperware which she gave to the restaurant for her left-overs. They were happy to fill her left-overs in this. I never saw this form of no plastic before.
