Atif ruled Bwood from 2006 - 2016. He had to leave Bwood b/c he and all Pakistani artists working in India were kicked out because of the conflict between the 2 countries. Arijit rose and dominates because there is no competition from Atif but if Atif had been there, Arijit would not have risen alone. Atif’s voice has better harmonics and clarity.

Coke Studio Taajdaar E Haram and R&B Chale to Kat hi jayega are enough to make him an Atif Aslam fan...by the way most of these songs were from Bollywood and in Hindi... except Kun Faya Kun which was composed by AR Rehman and that too from Bollywood movie.... actually Gima award is a Bollywood event itself....❤❤❤
