Xulfi is a damn genius. He was the producer of Nescafe Basement before moving to Coke Studio, last season. The lead guitarist here, Sherry Khattak, who sang in Ye Dunya, also moved with Xulfi as an associate producer. He is one of the best singers in Pakistan. Hadiya is a 14 or 15 year old young woman now. An unbelievable talent. You guys are doing an unbelievable job.

Here's a true story. Before this song, Xulfi had gone to check on promising young singers at a singing school. He heard them sing one by one. When it was Hadiya's turn, he didn't say a word. He started crying

Awesome choice guys. Hadia was a viral sensation in her first ever appearance 🎶. ‘Hu’ is short for ‘Allah Hu’. Sherry Khattak (orange guitar) of "Ye Dunya (CS 14) fame can be seen here. Zain Peerzada (heavy set guy with long hair) is playing a 'Paul Reed Smith' which is considered an ultimate guitar and is very expensive. Their distinguishing feature is the pictures of birds on the neck. Zain is also part of "Karakoram' band which was featured in CS 14 on Ye Dunya. Xulfi was the producer of Nescafe before moving to CS for the 14th season. Most of the musicians featured here moved with him and are now engaged on the CS platform which is doing wonders. There are some hidden gems in Nescafe also. You should check ‘Yaar Vekho’ by Sanam Marvi from CS6. The only CS song with a blues sound. You will like it. Also check ‘Na Kaho’ by Faraz Nayyer in Nescafe Basements. This was a cover of a 2003 song. ‘’Aadat’ is another excellent instrumental from Nescafe.

Greetings from Pakistan. Fantastic selection from Nescafe Basement. I have seen this song many many times but with you people, it felt that I was hearing it for the first time. You people just delve deep into the songs. Magnificent reactions indeed. There are some great recommendations from Nescafe Basement. Please consider "Mahbooba" and "Aadat" to start with and then will suggest more. Also consider "Tu Jhoom" and "Go" from Coke studio season 14. I am sure yourselves will not regret it. Nescafe Basement was a Xulfi project and it has many talented young people. TAG (an All Girls Band) did a cover, there was a rocking cover of Sweet Child O Mine, Abdullah Siddiqui's Resistance (launch track), Give me Love sung by a very talented singer, Aadat Instrumental version, cover of Larger than life, Gharoli-Ghoom Charakra (spirtual) and many others. Definitely worth exploring.

Fun Fact this Nescafe Basement team took coke studio from season 14 on recommendation of Rohail Hyatt the original producer and meastro of Coke Studio Pakistan. Karakoram (Ye Duniya) was like a house band of Nescafe Basement. Violists are Twins amazing talent. And OF COURSE ADNAN DHOOL the one and only master of pen main vocalist here but his written songs are just soooooooooooooooooooooo goood

So glad you did this! I've listened to this song so many times and each time my reaction is like yours Waleska. I love when you both started rocking to Soch - in my opinion, one of the best bands to come out of Pakistan - because they were brilliant with this song. Hadia was an amazing cake topper, but the cake was pretty awesome by itself I think Are you still doing Nescafe Basement? Could you please feature Resistance, by Abdullah Siddiqui. I don't know if anyone, explained it to you or not. But the lead male singer he's a professional Singer, writer and lyrics making, video graphy everything he's handling alone. The most interesting part is Hadiya it's her first debut song with a professional Singer. It was a great challenge but at the end credit goes to Xulfi how he arranges it all. ?Hi, I've been watching your reactions for over a month now and felt compelling to comment. You guys put on a good show in your videos. Your reactions are lovely to the extent of overall song understanding & aesthetics just because of obvious language barrier which is understandable. And your expressions are natural. Thanks for an honest reaction once again. However I can't help but ask one question, I will try to choose my words very carefully so as to not unnecessarily influence your reactions. You were so deeply moved by songs like 2AM and O Yara (understandably so) that you were crying like a baby yet this song doesn't seem to have hit you hard enough. I mean whenever I listen to this song and it gets to the part of the little girl, tears just start rolling of my face and I can't help it. So my question is, were you undergoing some emotional phase when you heard those songs? or is it that the element of surprise is what's missing. Not criticizing or anything just curious to ask the question. I almost decided not to ask the question but then I thought maybe I should ask in all fairness. I hope you understand the spirit behind my question. Keep it up.
