Excellent, very personal trip report. I'd like to visit Lisbon, but I am very hesitant considering my age (79) and I'm a very bad walker. Maybe, I"ll use mostly a tuk-tuk. Lisbon has a very hilly topography. I watched your climb to Sintra and you are young people. Thank you for this excellent report.
Hello, we are so happy to read your comment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It's true that Lisbon is really hilly but there are buses and trams to move around fortunately. We did the climb to avoid the queue of the bus to the castle of Sintra but most of the people we met took the bus and didn't do the climb ;)
Portuguese greetings. You are always welcome to Portugal, you have very good vibes. I hope you liked it and come back often. A big hug and a big kiss from a Portuguese.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us a kind comment, we appreciate it :) We liked it very much and will come back if we have opportunity. Big hug from two French souls :)
Woww i love your video! I wonder from the train station in Sintra to the palace, can you get a car or a tram to get there? I'm going with mom, she's old and can't walk a lot. Thank you:)
Yes you can take the bus to the palace from the train station. You will see many people going in the same direction to take the bus. There is a long queue but manageable. Sorry for the late asnwer. Have a great holiday with your mom ❤
Really enjoyed your stroll to and around the palace. Was that a regular metro train...have a/c and only an hour to Sintra?? Do you recall the name of the area you dined in Alfama? Did you need euros or could you use a credit card? Thanks
Hello, really happy you enjoy our journey in Sintra. Yeah, it was a regular train with A/C at only one hour to Sintra. It was the last stop. We bought our roundtrip ticket at Rossio train station and depart from there too. For the night market we are not sure it's here all year long... we were just walking on the street of Alfama and saw this amazing market. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment :)
Which train did you take? How long to Sintra? I was in Lisbon in 2022 and I took a train to Sintra which took 2H 30M and it did not have A/C. This time I am going back with my parents and they are 84 and 77 years. I need a train with A/C.
