I moved to Romania 6 years ago, I love Romania. I live in a village next to Danube river. Bought the land and the home something that in other west countries you need to work for 35 years.. Romania create for me the Romania Dream, not the Australia "Dream" = "Hell", I was spend 10 ys of my life for nothing !. Thank you Romania ! ( I am Greek )

hi, RU-vid recommended me your vlog, and I subscribed :) I'm Polish but living in Ireland. Romania looks quite similar to Poland, we also have those outdoor markets. Only after I moved to Ireland, I started to appreciate places like that. I've been to Romania once, to Oradea only - it's a beautiful city. There are also a lot of Romanian people in Ireland, so my half-Irish daughter has a lot of Romanian friends :) Anyway, I'm looking forward to more vlogs from Romania! :)

Even with the heat, the advantage to living in Reșița (or Caransebeș) is that you can easily go up the mountain (Semenic or Muntele Mic respectively) to enjoy cooler temperatures.

Iti multumesc ca prezinti imagini de la noi, pt straini ca sa vada o imagine realista, ca nu suntem chiar lumea a treia, e ok daca muncesti si faci ce trebuie, se traieste decent. Doresc sa-ti sugerez, ca tuturor romanilor, sa va instalati un ap. de aer conditionat. Clima se incalzeste, va fi ca in Spania, si trebuie sa invatam sa ne putem cel putin un aer conditionat, la fel cum ne incalzim iarna, pentru ca tine de supravietuire! Nu stiu ce m-as fi facut fara! Cu cat inaintamin varsta cu atat suntem mai sensibili la temperaturi extreme, ati vazut cati au murit din cauza caldurii. Nu conteaza cat costa, nu va zgarcitit, ap de aer conditionat e obligatoriu pentru o casa, pentru confortul si longevitatea noastra. Nu e adevarat ca face rau, ca racesti, etc. Eu ii dau drumul doar cand e foarte cald, poti regla ventilatia si temperatura, si nu am racit. Succes!

I leftvtge country 5 years ago, with my wife and my 1 year old. Lived in Bucharest. We now have three kids. We moved just so that we can raise our kids and give them another start. But in 15-20 years, I would like to move back to Bucharest. I miss its smell, its crowded streets. I miss our looooong walks around the city. And yeah. Romania is not such a bad country. If the EU expands into Georgia, Ukraine Moldova it will actually be a great place to live. If the russians take Ukraine, thou.....I am afraid it's not going to be too pleasant.

Lidl basmati is the best deal i think. Mega Image will always be a little more expensive over all then Lidl or Kaufland

hi.... have a lovely week you also.... i love your cat... it is so lovely.... prusia bleu i believe is the name of the cat breed.. i love animals hence i have to fluffy guinea pigs and a small dog that i caled cow because when it was little she like it to chew allmoust everything she can find ... still like to do that sometimes.... now on the serious note the man overcharged you... basically i think the man just rip you off .... i live in bucharest and here in the capital we only pay 100 to 150 lei... it is a simple job that require only 2 wrenches and a little patience... is not rocket science.... i have to tell you that i am a little ashamed because people like that try to rip off foreigners that dont know the real prices here or just dont know to speaks romanian language like a native... next time when you have a problem ask a neighbour for help ( majority of us we are very friendly and helpful) an for sure it will recommend you someone cheaper or even it will help you by himself if it an older man...if it recommended you someone it is a good practice to allways check the prices online and on facebook romanian pages ... there will be romanians with very good intentions that will help you for sure.... and always use ride sharing apps like uber or bolt ... i am sorry to say but the classic taxi drivers if they see that you are not a native it will try to rip you off ... not all but the majority of them.... for cheap food items i recommend Profi Lidl and Kaufland ..... Lidle for some exotic items and Kauflamd for the large variety off romanian products and bouth for the discount prices,,,, the basmati rice is so expensive because of the brand ... it a practice in romania that if you strap a brand on the package the price get bigger... look for the off brand that have basmati rice at a lower price... and always check the expiration date on all fresh product like cheese for example.... the mentioned store are so overwhelmed with customers that thy dont have time to replace the expired products ... it is happening once in a wile but it still happening .... and stop buying bread that is already packed in plastic bags... they are full of additives to make them last longer on the shelf an have a weird taste from what they put in it... find a good small bakery that sell fresh baked bread daily ... is is cheaper also... for example i am fortunate to have in my area a small bakery that bring every day fresh hot bread that is so delicious... and onlu cost betwin 2.5 lei and 4 lei... for other products i recommend you Emag.ro.... it is the biggest online store from romania and they are very client oriented... if you buy from them you can return the product with no ask if you dont like it... and if you have a Sameday delivery box near you it will delivered there for free and you can pickup the package for yourself if it is a small package.. if you are on a budget to some more expensive product they offer some payments plans that they are very good... worth check them out for sure... i buy a lot of products from them and never disappoint me... in the end i apologize if i assumed something that was not true and commented on that ... and sorry for the long comments... if you are in need for some advice dont be shy to ask me and i will try to advice you as much as i can and i know .... have a lovely week and welcome to romania ... hope you are going to love it here...

All the Balkans eat like that. I am an American in Macedonia. Same throughout Eastern Europe. Been 5o Bucharest and friend took me to traditional Romanian restaurant. all the same food and music too, just in your language, we sang the same songs but in different languages😂. You should get an air conditioner/heater inverter. You will probably need it both in summer and winter.
