I also lived in Bucharest for 3 years, never EVER going back! I lived in a lot of noisy and crowded cities where my anxiety and depression got worse. I prefer the quiet and more close to nature locations. I recently bought a house in the countryside and I work remotely. I love it!
Foarte frumos, imi plac mult vlogurile tale, recent le-am descoperit, ma relaxeaza intr-o perioada horror la birou, dar nu prea am timp sa scriu. Imi plac foarte mult cele din Ro pentru ca evident aici traiesc. Sa mai faci vloguri cu rutina zilnica, sunt foarte inspirationale.

I am a native of Bucharest and I emigrated in Ceausecu's time. I enjoyed watching your trip. In my youth, temperatures in Bucharest rarely exceeded 30 degrees Celsius. Of course there was AC nowhere. Now, in Israel there are 32 degrees at noon every day, I think the maximum was 35 degrees. Here's good AC everywhere. It looks like Romania may be hotter than Israel, somethinng that I never imagined. I intend to come for a longer trip next year, but definitely not during the hottest summer.
Looks like you keep walking in my footsteps. 5 years in Bucharest, then traveling back you end up shopping in the same Mega Image I was few weeks ago, where you get Street Foodies, I also got to share with the ducks in Herastrau. Train sequence along Danube was no longer than 5-6 hours before. So here comes a Falafel🧆for reactivating old memories.
I m sorry this happened to you :( our train travelling industry is not something that the government want to invest in, sadly. And only the people suffer. Hope you will forget this bad experience and enjoy the rest of Romania. Please post more often we love it❤
Yes! they are working on some portions of the train tracks for years and years now ! And they have speed restrictions and weird limits 😵💫 and due to the heat the tracks got dilated (one thing I will never understand..)
@@simple.d_vlogs for long trips, by train, look to buy tickets for sleeping cars. It is not very expensive and is comfortable, to lay..even if with 3 others in same space.. Travelled from Bucharest North to Sighet. Maramures is beautiful. First time had regular seat and was so hard to bear. Later, went only in sleeping car. It was more beautiful, looking on the window, no plains , but, did not care, being seated for too long it is a nightmare.
a 9 hour train trip in my country (the US) would cost over $100, and over $300 for first class! i really wish we had affordable train travel here, since it costs that much to fly as well. Bucharest looks really cool but a chaotic place to live, especially in summer. and i agree with you about malls, they're so exhausting!

@mariuspopescu284 Problema mea este cu orice oraș gigant, indiferent de țară! Haosul de acolo ma stoarce de orice fărâmă de energie.. Nu ai idee cat am comentat de Los Angeles sau San Francisco, Londra nu-i mai prejos și nici Las Vegas.. In schimb alte orășele din America sau Anglia mi-au mers toate la suflet.
I so feel you right now. I used to travel by train regularly more than 18y ago when the trains moved faster and back then we didn't have AC at all in them. I caught the scorching heat that is inside during the summer several times. I know how you feel when you say it drained you of everything. One time the train stopped in plain field due toa power outage. We didn't receive even a bottle of water. My mouth felt like glue due to dehydration 😅. Sadly the only routes the trains go well is Bucharest-Brasov and Bucharest-Constanța. The rest are on hyatus. That's why many Romanians prefer to go by car. It's a sad and frustrating situation. I love the fact that we have train tracks and the possibility to travel by train but the authorities are doing nothing to maintain and invest in them T_T.
Oh da! Așteptatul in câmp! I remember once the locomotive broke down and we had to wait in plain field for another one which came from the nearest city. It was super hot but they gave us water and croissant 😱 still the AC didn’t work without locomotive and you couldn’t open the windows so we stepped outside

Trains are fine in summer...just best to plan ahead and get a ticket, as some trains are older and during major climate crises like the past month in romania have their A/C break down since they're not built for such weather. You can see how old or new your train is though on the CFR website.

If you hate going to the mall or big stores you should consider going to thrift stores in romania. Often, there are multiple on every block, and they're SO affordable.

It’s pretty close. They’re both in sector 3 and there’s only like another neighborhood separating them. (Dristor) Feel free to check it on a map. Also we have the original first mall in Romania here, it’s small and cute and less traffic so you’ll probably like it more. There’s a small arcade shop in it hidden away in a corner somewhere where anyone barely goes to it’s perfect for people like us. (I don’t like crowded places either >.

yes last time i went on rail there was a 90 min delay, no ac going 30km/h, a door opened by itself , we almost ran out of water and some other shenanigans. thank god i was with my classmates (route was bucharest--> timisoaram, and this was last summer)
I have to hand it to you - I could never stand that heat! I tend to pass out and break out in a rash in severe heat. Anyway, I agree about the malls and shopping in general. I do all my shopping on line now. Can't stand shopping, and the constant load music - what is that about? Love Myla and I am sure she was happy to have you home.
I totally agree Mary! Shopping online is a masive blessing! I forgot to mention I feel terrible inside the fitting rooms as well.. it’s not about claustrophobia but about the lights and the huge mirrors and the music playing there as well. Are you feeling the same?

Kolhrabi is Romanian gulie you can find it everywhere at every aprozar or supermarket or piață :) the recipe is simple you add all the vegetables you want but also gulie which you will chop the way you like it. And that’s it !:)

She is so adoreble ❤ That was a long long travel with train 😮 pfff I would have cried publicly 😂 I don't know if you have visited the Netherlands, but everything is expensive here when travelling with bus, tram or train. I live in the Hague and when I want to go to Amsterdam for example by train it cost me 15 euro one way. But on the other hand, we have a good travel system and airconditioning..
My mom & her sister came here and had great time with Myla 😊 we also have air conditioning here in Romania but due tot 44 C it simply couldn’t handle it and broke down (right on the day when I traveled 🙈) nope never been to Holland but visited Denmark and Sweden, would love to one day ! How short is the train ride from Hague to Amsterdam?

Eeee, de la Piata Presei luai frumos tramvaiul 41 pana la parcul Drumul Taberei/Moghioros , te relaxai linistita aproximativ o ora si apoi fugeai inapoi in Titan! Bucurestiul este un cosmar vara! E un oras fain doar in lunile lui Aprilie, Mai , Septembrie si Octombrie! :)

Eu nu cred ca apuc 50 de ani daca nu ma mut cumva, candva, de aici, intr-o zona mai linistita, poate pe unde-mi faceam veacul la tara prin Bucovina, desi am inteles ca si pe acolo incep, usor usor, a se degrada lucrurile ... Presupun ca atunci cand locuiai in Bucuresti , iarna te zgariai pe ochi de la privelistea "plina de viata" a blocurilor gri, completate de zgomotul continuu al ambulantelor si motoarelor de misuna pe strazi , plus ceva noxe inhalate, asa, ca desert ... iar vara, am observat din vlog ca-ti "place" la fel de tare :))) Ia sa ma duc sa-mi iau premiul ca locuiesc aici :P :)) Zi faina!
@@simple.d_vlogs I live in the West, near Portugal in the autonomous community of Extremadura. Here the climate is very extreme both in summer and winter. There are many mountains but the town where I live is flat because the crops are irrigated.
@@simple.d_vlogs There are 4 seasons but the transition is very inconspicuous. We go from summer to winter from one day to the next, although the coldest time is in January. This year we did have spring. I understand that in Romania it is quite cold (although in some areas more than others) Heat waves reach all of Europe and the weather is not like before... I remember when I was little, autumn weather began in September. Now we go from summer to winter around November.
Inteleg perfect experiența pe care ai avut-o în tren pentru că și eu am trăit una asemănătoare pe la jumătatea lui iulie din acest an. Călătoream tot la București cu mama mea iar aerul condiționat nu mai făcea față din cauza temperaturii extreme. 41 de grade s-au anunțat in acea zi, dar se simțea de parcă erau 50. Aveam de asemenea evantaie la noi, dar nu ne ajutau cu nimic. Mamei i se facuse foarte rau, mai avea un pic si făcea infarct, si nici ceilalți călători nu arătau prea bine. A fost o experiență îngrozitoare, a trebuit să plecăm din motive de sănătate, și sperăm să nu mai nimerim niciodată în lunile de vară. Nu-mi place deloc acest anotimp, mai ales că sunt blondă și am pielea albă. Imi creează disconfort din orice punct de vedere. Anotimpurile reci și vremea ploioasă pe care am văzut-o in celelalte vloguri ale tale din UK sunt preferatele mele. P. S. Ai o păpușică de pisică și o alint mereu din fața ecranului. 😍 Pur și simplu îmi vine să o îmbrățișez și să o pupăcesc. ❤
Mersi pentru comentariu Florentina 🤗 numai cine trece prin teroarea vieții cu trenul ăla poate să înțeleagă, îmi pot imagina prin ce a trecut mama ta :( data viitoare să vă luați bilet la clasa 1 e diferența de doar 60 lei și merge clima perfect 👌🏼 când s-a stricat la dus, la clasa 1 nu s-a defectat nimic și a funcționat perfect 🤦🏻♀️ eu m-am întors acasă cu clasa 1 și iarăși se stricase clima la cls 2 și unii au venit la noi în vagon ca nu mai puteau respira. Myla e o păpușică atâta o smotocesc toată ziua c a uneori se ascunde adânc sub pat ca să nu o mai torturez 😄 vremea din UK pe mine nu mă deprimă deloc cum se plâng alții, însă mie îmi creează dureri de spate intense, dacă ai urmărit toate vlogurile explic undeva ca în UK tavanul de nori era coborât la 100 sau 400 metri iar în alte țări europene sau în România era de la 6000-9000 în sus. Presiunea atmosferică e foarte scăzută în Anglia și mă dor articulațiile de mor uneori :( practic noi trăim cu norii în nas și nu e deloc sănătos (umiditatea iarăși e mare și în aer sunt tot felul de spori care mă scot din minți 😟

Am văzut explicația ta despre norii din UK și îmi pare rău că întâmpini disconfort acolo. ☹️ N-am fost niciodată în UK, dar mi-am dat seama că are o climă pe placul meu. Nu știu cum m-aș simți, dar mi-ar plăcea să fac o vizită pe viitor, mai ales că am și cunoștințe stabilite acolo. Am locuit în 3 părți diferite din UK și unele zone sunt mai ok decât celalalte dar per total vara nu este vară.. și ploaia e ploaie :( când plouă, plouă! Și nu se mai oprește și 10 zile chit ca își mai schimbă nivelul de precipitații. Mă bucur mult mult de tot ca îți plac vlogurile mele, curând o să mă reîntorc în UK și apoi iarăși în România și tot așa ♥️🩶 iubesc România cu bune și rele, dar și UK este acasă !

Nici eu nu m-aș întoarce să locuiesc în București , un oraș frumos dar din păcate vara e mult prea cald pt mine . Aș leșina zilnic cu siguranță... Sunt unele zone/cartiere unde chiar s-a ales praful de oraș, iar unii oameni necivilizați clar trag orașul mult în jos

I don't pity you nore endy you, just a little advice. i know its super damn hot in day time.... is best to be out after 8 pm .... it gets so much better then, this of before 9 or 10 in the morning in Bucharest. Is a better life experience between the hours i mentioned.... so you don't have to endure something like this. Much blesses

The longest I had to stay in Bucharest was a month and never again😁 You are brave to go there during the heat wave, although staying somewhere close to IOR Park is a plus. Completely agree with the mall thing, I don’t even go once a year, I only go if I need clothes for a special occasion and I have to try them on (me or husband) otherwise I don’t get the appeal. @@simple.d_vlogs I’m mostly like you, I very rarely eat animal products (also lactose sesitive so I can’t eat anything with milk in it, like cereals) and I found some of your videos surprisingly inspiring for vegetarian recipes.🙂 Hence the question. And yes on Bucharest, I had to stay there for study and work but only a couple of weeks at a time (at some friends mostly, also in Titan), it’s just too noisy. Well, you made the best of your visit at least and filmed a nice vlog.❤️

Mori lent daaaa! Dar ziceam și alții subscriberi în comentarii aerul condiționat magic a mers la clasa 1, cu toate ca toate vagoanele de la clasa 2 erau în saună! Nu pricep cum! Au altă climă la clasa 1? De aia m-am și întors cu 1 și nu cu 2 și a fost super la întoarcere, am avut doar 45 min întârziere ceea ce nesemnificativ
Well, m-am născut și încă trăiesc în zona asta de sud a țării, la 60 de km de Craiova, și drept să spun nici mie nu-mi plac oamenii din jurul meu, in special mentalitatea lor. Mai este și aspectul localităților care nu prea pot sa zici că te încântă, in Dolj, in afară de Craiova, unde se îngrijesc de oraș ca lumea, nu prea ai alte orașe/localități unde chiar ar merita să petreci timpul liber. E mult de muncă în Oltenia ca să ajungă la măcar jumătate din nivelul Transilvaniei sau Banatului
Imi place mult România si Bucureștiul. Nu as vrea sa stau in alta țara. Daca nu va place nu e nici o problemă. Unii au uitat si romaneste dupa ce au plecat in străinătate 😂
Te înțeleg perfect, n-aș da Bucalele meu, bătrân și gălăgios câteodată, pentru nimic în lume! Mulți nu vor înțelege ce scriu acum, dar Bucale e un oraș pe care trebuie să știi să-l privești, altfel nu vei înțelege cât de frumos și fascinant este, în cea mai mare parte!
Sadly, trains are not okay yet in our country, and we'll likely need another 5-6 years before they start getting better - they won't do any major upgrade of the rolling stock fleet until mainline repairs are completed, as it would be poorly spent money. The heatwave was horrible for everyone, so totally get you not liking it. There are things that are nice about living in Bucharest (but during heatwaves is DEFINITELY not one of those times when you'll find those things), at least for someone like me who was born and lived here all my life. But as I grow older, I am starting to look for options to get a nice little place of my own away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and I'm actually seriously considering getting a home on the Bulgarian seaside at Balchik. I also wish sometimes we'd take it a bit slower and lighter, too many people are turning increasingly rude lately. I've noticed that trend for the past 10 years or so, although specifically in my neighborhood it does not seem to be the case. The car traffic has also gotten past the "insane" point lately, and our city authorities seem to be completely incapable to implement traffic reduction policies.
Well.. if I would be born and lived in there all my life I would definitely see Bucharest with totally different eyes. Până la urmă.. e acasă, right ? :)
@@simple.d_vlogs Asa este, desi in ultima vreme e prea aglomerat si lumea prea grabita. Nu era asa cand eram copil. Pe de alta parte, infrastructura e mult mai buna acum. In orice caz, mi se pare ca e genul de oras care nu place "din prima", ca sa zic asa. Poate sa ajunga sa-ti placa dupa niste luni de zile (cunosc cazuri), daca nu esti de-aici.
@@costinhalaicu2746 Se spune ca oamenii fac locul, nu? .. ei bine eu cred ca un mare rol il joaca oamenii in Bucuresti. Daca ar avea atitudinea placuta a celor din Transilvania, Banat sau alte parti ospitaliere ale tarii, ar fi cu totul altceva zic eu..

Trains with AC really suck in such extreme weather .. inevitable it will break down, and in such airconditioned trains no windows can be opened :( open windows from the beginning would have been better, even if only hot air comes in.
Sadly no.. you should have stayed with me during the vlog. I mentioned there that they opened the windows and then the hell happened. Outside was hot sauna air, also humid
@@simple.d_vlogs Yes, yes I noted that remark. Personally, whatever heatwave I always prefer the open windows. But AC is really hell when it breaks down and there are no windows to open as sometimes happens !

Bucureștiului vara îi dau mmm 6.5 hai 7 pentru ca are mijloace de transport cu clima și curate, pe vremuri când locuiam acolo în facultate îi dădeam clar 10 🙈Mintea mea a evoluat pare-se..
De ce nu ai mai locui în Buc.? Momentan locuiesc în Elveția de aprox. 2 ani și. În primul rând ar fi un tren ce nu ar străbate toată țara pt. 9 ore. Ori e țara mai mică, ori pt. că infrastructura permite viteze mai mari. Mai bine s-ar face echivalarea în km. Dar oricum să zicem București - Caransebeș, 9h 12' cu trenu' aka 461 km. Am gasit Zürich - Koblenz 470 km 6h 42' 112 CHF/ 117.19 EUR/ 98.74 GBP/ 126.75 USD/ 583.03 RON

Frumos, am dat subscribe, un sfat, poti vorbi in vloguri, asa intrii mai bine in legatura cu oamenii care te urmaresc, eu asa fac, stai la Timisoara? Su eu fac Bike vlog, felicitari, stiu cat de greu e la editare plus faptul ca trebuie sa pui si text e un efort suplimentar si eu stau in Bucuresti dar find din Sibiu verile imi fac business-ul de la munte, e prea cald in Bucuresti plus multe alte inconveniente, te inteleg ca ai plecat. O să mai aduc și alte persoane. Când ai timp aruncă un ochi și la vlogurile ce le-am filmat în satele vechi din Caras Severin, sunt curioasă ce părere ai. Poate le și știi deja pe unele dintre ele..

I'm confused. How does visiting your friend In Bucharest mean traveling through Serbia? I thought you were somewhere in Romania. Also, I'm in the UK so you already know how much a 9 hour journey would cost. :)
In western, actually more like south-western Romania the main rail way line that connects Timisoara with Bucharest goes along the Danube which separates Romania and Serbia in that area, so you can actually see Serbia from the train :)
I never traveled 9 hours in UK but I know how much 2.3 hours cost 🥲 yes Serbia is that close that I even got automatically connected to their mobile network :)
Acum 8 ani cand am plecat spre Franta am spus Adio Romania ! Singurul regret e ca am plecat abia la 55 de ani, trebuia sa plec cand aveam 30 ... Nu m-as intoarce nici pentru tot aurul din lume ! Tara aia s-a dus de rapa de tot ... Multumesc pentru ca mi-ai amintit de ce am plecat !
