This happened to me too at Guatemala I planned 10 days stay in Guatemala ,so when customs asked length of stay I told 10 days She entered the same in passport When I crossed the border I was let in but was told I was left with only 3 days After a long discussion with immigration officer I realized that 10 days were meant for c4 countries I was to give advice when you entered Guatemala but realized that it’s too late In my case on entry at El Salvador my destination was San Salvador, I went straight to immigration office The officer was very co operative & did the job I had been to 10 countries Peru Bolivia Costa Rica Panama c4 Colombia Planning to go to Brazil Argentina & Chile in March Next week I am going to Korea Appreciate your enthusiasm to see places I do normally trekking & a little adventure I went to the live volcano in Antigua
