This is the same Viator (TripAdvisor company) Private Tour we booked www.viator.com/tours/Bangkok/Private-Tour-Kanchanaburi-Erawan-Waterfall-Hellfire-Pass-and-Elephant-Care/d343-100506P19?pid=P00188601&mcid=42383&medium=link&campaign=ErawanElephantTour (If you use this affiliate link to book (exact same price), I will receive a small commission which will help support this channel) The trip was not sponsored, we used our own money to book it and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to share it :) Thank you!
Right?! I'm so glad I had them with me that day... you can never predict when there will be crazy rainstorm like this (very rare but I've seen it 2 times in the last 7 years)
You can watch my next story from the same day! 🔺 ELEPHANT SANCTUARY (Private Tour experience) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cvIgoV2Cbdk.html 🔺Learning Scuba Diving in Koh Tao -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RhgFdfuiYzc.html 🔺 Bangkok Night Tour by Boat & Tuktuk 🇹🇭 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O5yAbUcwNUg.html
that's cool that you also went (just saw the video). I think we got lucky with the weather and last year, there were a lot less tourists too. keep up the good work Witty! :)
I've never made it to the 7th level though. Much too tiring and hot for me. 😂 But really Erawan is a very beautiful waterfall. I and Frank went there in 2015. Still cherish the memory till this day.
Yes, it really was one of the most beautiful natural wonders site that I've visited. I couldn't believe the color of the water was like milky emerald and can see through the bottom with so many fish around... hopefully P' Frank will still be here next month :)
@TJ Stories 티제이 He plans to come during the Chinese NY. Actually he bought a ticket already although China hasn't reopened the borders yet. According to him, there might be a good news soon, I hope.
Hi TJ, Is it worth going to the Elephant Sanctuary and Erawan Waterfall on the same day? Also, would you be able to let us know where you booked and the pricing. Thank you so much and keep up the great work.
Hi Rael, thanks for your kind comment! our 12-hour trip was very rushed (3 places) actually if I had more time, I would have loved to spend more time at the Erawan waterfall (it's gorgeous and you can spend whole day there to play by the water and rest) - you can also consider staying a night in Kanchanaburi. we booked it on tripadvisor - www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g293916-d17597187-Private_Tour_to_Kanchanaburi_Erawan_Waterfall_and_Elephant_Care-Bangkok.html (it was during low season, so the price was cheaper then) in any case, both fun places to check out. hope you enjoy it and happy new year! :)
yea, I was also surprised....I always just thought Erawan was a place name and didn't have any significant meaning. thanks for your continuous support!
I would say always use precaution whenever you visit touristy places (I usually always carry high value items (like phone / camera with me). When I put my phone on a tripod to film myself swim, I first checked my surrounding to see what kinds of people were nearby.... and I made sure to keep checking it. As for the golf cart, yes you have to pay extra (I forgot how much we paid, I think it was around 50-100 THB/ person) I hope you have chance to go visit (one of my viewers gave me this advice - make sure not to visit after a heavy rainfall / heavy monsoon season as the water becomes very muddy)
I am planning to visit in a few days and hopefully weather will good even if it's mooson season now... How many hours did you stay there? I'm thinking if I could fit a different tour in the afternoon or better to spend the whole day there @@TJStories
Also I want to know nearby places to visit. Planning a day trip from bangkok. Can Erawan be clubbed with Maeklong railway market and damnoen saduak floating market?
thanks @prriyankajoshi I just checked the price on Grab Car/taxi from BKK to Erawan national park, it's around 2145 THB one way (4-5 hrs), I think if you are going with a few friends, I suggest booking a private car/van for a round trip (should come out cheaper than just grabbing a normal taxi).
the private tour my niece booked on Trip Advisor included 3 places in half day tour Bangkok. Erawan National Park for the waterfall, the elephant sanctuary (I made another video about this) and the death railroad. I believe this is the private tour we booked: www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g293916-d17597187-Private_Tour_to_Kanchanaburi_Erawan_Waterfall_and_Elephant_Care-Bangkok.html
