Art Thomya, a Thai singer/songwriter, will show you LOCAL EXPERIENCES in PHATTHALUNG, Thailand's Southern province with nature so beautiful as painting. Local communities and living creatures have lived together with happiness for centuries.
We will explore around Pak Pra and Thale Noi and watch water buffaloes and various kinds of birds in this beautiful land.
Art has invited his friend, Touly Bidalack, a famous singer and model from Laos to experience local way of living there.

Thanks a lot for watching. I miss the East Coast too. Used to visit my friends around there. Thailand has a lot of unseen places. PHATTHALUNG can be reached by flying from BANGKOK to TRANG, then driving for another 1 hour. Then, you'll see what are in this episode :)

Marc Yes, I agree :) Just fly from Bangkok to Trang or Hatyai, then it is 1:30 hrs drive to Phatthalung :)

i just been to Thale Noi recently but the iconic pink water lilies were not in full bloom as they were approaching their seasonal blooming. according to the local boatman there, the best time to visit is between late March and early April in order to see all flowers in full bloom. despite that, i saw several birds like herons and cranes as well as the water buffaloes swimming in the lake. you can also try out the water lily stem dishes including in a spicy gaeng som curries there as well.
