I have used many Klein clamp on meters in my day. I have been relatively satisfied with them and find them to be comparable to Fluke Fieldpiece and UEI. It didn't last quite as long as the others, but I may have been rougher with them so I can't truly attest to the durability. But Klein seems to make quality everything.

I used to doubt the quality of KLEIN test instruments when they started selling test instruments a few years ago. But now they’ve UPGRADED their test equipment. And now KLEIN is a force to be reckoned with 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🎊

Great idea TP, I’ll make note of that and try to remember to do that next time. TP, I have two pieces to test equipment I would like to give to you but it’ll cost a lot to ship it from the United States to the UK. The test instruments I had in mind is the ( Amprobe ALLTest - US & The HT INSTRUMENTS HT60 True RMS Digital Multimeter ) now the HT60 isn’t working properly it was sent to me and it wasn’t working properly when I received it. To have an idea of what test instruments I’m talking about take a look at my videos entitled ( Amprobe ALLTest- US ) & ( HT INSTRUMENTS Italy Finest). If you’re interested and you figure out a way to get them shipped to you you’re welcome to have them for FREE. 👍🏿

@@TheElectriciansToolChannel Thanks for the thought TETC. Shipping to the UK will be costly, it can be reduced by using sending via sea instead of air and not insuring, but I am not sure what happens when it comes into the country. It has to be declared to customs and there then may be extra charges and I don't have an account with HMRC, so the courier would be involved, that adds further handling charges. Looking at the ALLTest, its input and output looks to be set for the American market at 110V/60Hz, which isn't compatible with the UK. 110V is easy enough for me, but the 60Hz won't be at that kind of rating. So I am not sure how useable the unit is to me. Was the HT60 new from HT Instruments? If it is, I would engage with them, as if there is a failure early in life, the manufacturer's like to look at the units to see if there is an underlying issue. I believe ALLTest is a clone of the HT-4050, so HT Instruments may be able to help with that as well. It may be better to talk to one of your American based subscribers or maybe collaborate with an USA based channel such as American Electrician or Electrician U. 👍

Well I’ve never owned any FIELDPIECE instruments before, but I had my experiences with them. I’m sorry 😐 sir but FIELDPIECE and UEI Instruments doesn’t do anything for me . As an electrician they’re not reliable enough, that’s just my opinion.

SOUTHWIRE is a nice meter, but compared to some other instruments it comes in second and third place .

This is the only UEI product I own. It feels like a quality product, but as an electrician and compared to most of my other clamp meter(s) UEI wouldn’t be my first choice. But I’m glad that you’re pleased with your UEI purchase and haven’t experienced any issues. Thanks for watching 👍🏽
