@@accountforcommenting always great to put your own life, and the life's of your loved ones on the line. (Also a thought: after 2014 Ukraine, Russia will never ever ever let Belarus have the same faith.)
@@frankkab4632 yup my mad. ironically we have 1 prime minister per year, while our president was just elected for his second time, making him serve as president for 14 YEARS lol
I know a lot of the names of several PMs and roughly when some of them served, but yeah I would get decimated on that, and I'd penalty outperform most of my fellow countrymen 😅
American history buff here, I only missed Quincy Adams & Cleveland. I knew Garfield because he was the first POTUS to be assassinated. The rest felt like something all Americans should know.
I do trivia contests, and study elections on an amateur for my own information basis. with the time requirement and the stress of it I got about the same number you did.
As a British person, I've heard far more about people lile Raegan, Lincoln, Kennedy, Roosevelt, and Clinton than I ever have about Jefferson. I hadn't even heard of Thomas Jefferson till I actually visited the US.
As an American, the only presidents I know are the ones on money and the one in office. Other than that, I know some stories but that will only give me about 5 more presidents.
To be fair, they did throw in some pretty obscure ones that most Americans probably wouldn't know. Plus I feel like throwing both John Adams at you is just a dick move lol.
Thats ok you really only need to remeber the few most recent presidents (say back to JFK) and the remarkable ones like washington, lincoln, the Roosevelts, thomas Jefferson, truman, wilson The rest were mostly unremarkable or forgettable
As an American, I think it's just adorable that you'd even try, and then get not quite a failing grade that is, however, better than most Americans would get. (I only did two better than you.)
1. "William" Bill Clinton 2. Ronald Reagan 3. John F. Kennedy 4. George H. W. Bush 5. John Adams 6. Jimmy Carter 7. George Washington 8. Ulysses S. Grant 9. Theodore Roosevelt 10. Abraham Lincoln 11. Woodrow Wilson 12. Thomas Jefferson 13. Franklin D. Roosevelt 14. Andrew Johnson 15. Lyndon B. Johnson 16. Grover Cleveland 17. John Quincy Adams 18. Calvin Coolidge 19. James A. Garfield 20. James Madison
