@@Seeta_sa_gautaCrime is rife in the CBD. Just 3 months ago my car was broken into and my belongings stolen whilst parked on the corner Market and Polly street. Police closed the case saying no leads and there are cameras all over the city and even where i had parked. So a lot more needs to be done than cleaning up dirty streets. The CBD needs to be safe. All illegal activities dealt with. Been looking for apartments in Maboneng but my constant negative experiences in jozi cbd is stopping me.
If you don't invest in the JHB CBD while is still cheap, distressed and liquidated, they won't be opportunities in 30 years to come. It will be expensive.

My feeling is that, people have money to invest in the CBD. If only they can get rid of the illegal people on the streets, add visible policing, clean the streets regularly, and ensure that spaza businesses are run by law abiding entrepreneurs... stability in local governance with less corruption. The CBD can attract investors.
