Ok so, new map, probably that house that was teased, and some explorer looking person, maybe like a sailor or sum, and they're charging up energy or whatever OR, the perk is the LANTERN and they're glowing and radiant! id say this is a teaser for that one thailand chapter (i think it was?) cause of the wave emoji... dunno. Anyways, EXCITED!
Ima focus and call out some things real quick. Area analysis: The obvious things are the sand and the wooden walkway (presumably a dock) but in the fog I spotted a building that is slightly elevated off the ground. No existing map meets the criteria of what's currently shown unless Camp Clearwater is given an update. Survivor & Lantern analysis: The color of the flame and the particles circling the survivor are the same color so the lantern is most likely giving the survivor buffs. Though most of the survivor is hidden I noticed keys on the survivor which could mean two things. Either the survivor has some sort of authority and can access of limit areas or the survivor is a thief who stole the keys. Though this is obvious the survivor clothing hints that they live or work with water related areas. Remember everything stated is just theories so please don't treat this too seriously.
Okay, hear me out. I'll try to guess the perk's ability. So, when you drop this latern it creates a little zone around itself and if you step on it, you'll get a buff on speed.
My guess is the lamp is the power and if you stand in the area you can have a stack of idk how much and after having all the stacks maybe you'll be have a like a protection thing that you can take one more hit but it will be broken I'd you can stack it so maybe unstackable
