I was writing my near future SF novel for Nano. The horror novel (about a mandurugo and a manananggal, mortal enemies) keeps calling. I can relate to the "next book siren song." I love the kitty! ❤❤ For fight scenes, I'd recommend Fight Write. Happy writing.

These tech layoffs have been brutal. I was told that they were supposed to be slowing down after the big ones last year/early this year, but evidently, that is not the case. Sorry to hear about your layoff. I hope that you're doing well, even after all that happened that week.
