WRITING VLOG 📓 So, l quit my 9-5 job to write full-time lol // a slow start to NaNoWriMo

🖋consistently wishing it were less stressful for people to quit their jobs to write full time. It's gonna be a great nano!

Don't define your self worth by your employment! I'm sure something will turn up, but it's okay if it takes a while. Plus it'll be cool to tell people you're a full time writer while it lasts. Best of luck with your projects! I'm having a productive first two days of NaNo so far and feeling good! It's my first year participating.

🖋 you can do this i believe in you. I am also participating in NaNoWriMo this year currently staring at my fantasy novel my current word count is 880 and I'm a day behind, but it's fine. I anticipated to be a day behind. I am struggling with my prologue I think my intro is too long, but I don't know how to cut it straight into the action, but also I'm worried about writing a fight scene since I don't know how to do that. I think I'm adding fluff scenes to delay writing the action lol.

Hope everything goes well for you Kelley! I'm struggling with writing a bit this Nano because of a family crisis but I'm still trying to write some days.

I'm in the same place you were in this video. Nine months with no job in tech after being laid off. Hardly any job gives me an interview, and if they do, it's like five interviews just to be told I don't have a job. I'm writing a book in the PNW (raised here) and this gave me some inspiration to finish my project.

I know it's difficult to quite your 9-5 job and could not have the time to write but I am trying to find a balance between my time as I am mother and a working woman, we have definitely to plan to have more time, since three years I didn't write even one phrase which frustrating me so much but I am living right now and I will come back soon to my writing.

🖋️ The first three days of NaNoWriMo went well: I continued the Fantasy novel I'm working on writing an important scene, sometimes even in a relaxing coffee shop (thing that I never do)

Why sending to the magazine and rejected ? Go to self publishing. I don't like publishers rules and are they to judge our writings and our visions, it's good to have good criticism and good honest reviews but they are the final judge of our writing ? I have been rejected 14 times from local publishing houses even without any reasons because obviously they don't have any reason to tell they want to change your writing style, they want to rephrase your phrases and change the spirit of your writing which is not acceptable ever to me, if they change your spirit of writing what's the use then of our vision ? Publishing house bullshit honestly.
