Fortune is a cool card. I don't know why for some reason I missed that card when I was building my first version of Orzhov Discard. It is ideal for discarding.
Yes it’s very strong. I’ve been playing a similar list (no emperor or Sorin, but more Rite and some Tithing Blade). It wins lots of games. Only loses to reanimator and boros convoke.
Ah, I love it when monored quits at the first sign of resistance. It's a constant reminder as to the true nature of monoredders, all speed and no stamina
Almost the same effect for the same mana cost but different creatures so you can't use The End or Deadly Cover-Up to exile his repeatable discard effects is the main reason I see but could be I'm not seeing some synergy there somewhere.
@Avvy89 True. He may not want all exile effects since he's playing two virtue of persistence. That was my other thought of why he he split with two beatles. I do this when deck building at times myself. I'll play two copies of two different cards that have the same effect at times just to keep my opponent guessing or for those weird percentage boosts like beatle not dying to GFTT due to being an artifact creature.
