Very nice birdhouse and picture holders. To be honest o didn't even know that birdhouses could attract certain bird types. So I learned some great lessons. Thank you. I really enjoy functional, organizing and gift type wood projects. The picture holder made me think those would be great gifts and the photo one you did with y'all's puppy is a great idea for a gift as well.
It’s so nice to see couples working together on projects, my husband and love to do lil things together I learn from him as well as he does from me. Your projects are so nice you do a great job. Love the bird house keep on working together so many couples can learn from you how great it is. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary this year I think stuff like this makes a great marriage. *Great advice about looking up the best way to build a bird 🐦 house according to the type of birds you want to attract...especially taking into consideration the diameter of the entrance hole 🕳 best suited to the species of bird❣️😉🥰😀 It's so very important to keep larger "bully birds" out of a wren's nest, for example. ☹️💙*
Thank you Leslie💗💗💗 I never knew there were bully birds until a couple summers ago. I kept running out to chase them away and tried putting the babies back in the house over and over 🥺 but they eventually took it over. It made me so sad.

Love the birdhouse! If you're looking for ideas, I've been trying to come up with storage on top of the desk. I had markers, pencils, tools,etc. I had the wire holder from DT but my cat enjoys knocking it over or knocking off the desk!
Another fabulous video. It really is so amazing what u can make out of scrap wood. I'm going to make a few photo holders as they are just so lovely. The bird house is so cool too but I really want a squirrel feeder for the squirrel thar visits daily lol. I can't tell u how pleased I am that I came across Yr channel and how much fun I'm having going through Yr videos. It's wonderful how ye husband helps u too and he's obviously enjoying it 😊 xx

Thank you Karen💗 I was wondering that too, but from what I read they don't need one and a perch makes it easier for predators or unwanted birds to get it. I hope it will work ok🤗 🐦
*@karen bethel and @Coffee With My Sunshine...Perches are actually BAD for wild birdhouses...because they give predators like other birds, snakes, 🐍 😳 lizards 🦎 and squirrels 🐿 a place to "perch" while they are raiding the bird's nest. Wild birds 🐦 using the birdhouse will use their feet once they land to grip the hole and lean inside to feed their offspring. NOT HAVING A PERCH is a predator deterrent. 😉*
If you paint a bird house, it usually take a year or so for birds to nest in it, because of the fumes. Those fumes will kill the birds. That's why they use birds in mines to make sure the gases won't kill the miners. They release the birds under ground, in the tunnels. If the birds make it out, then it's safe to go in. Hopefully they use other methods these days to check for gases
