I don't know what it is, but your energy is just so positive, I can't help but smile during your videos. You are so creative, but your positivity is just so great, too :)
Unfortunately, you missed the Fairy Garden stuff that's been there for the past few months. I got several bits and pieces of them that just need a repaint to work quite well...though their houses might be a bit more on the whimsy side of fantasy. But they also have stuff in those for other types of games such as ones that would make a great trailer park for moderns or post apocalyptic. There's a lot of other things that are more random if they appear at your local stores, but they often have a LOT of plastic or metal statues of characters that require very little if any work to be statues (And the Jurassic World ones are okay for dinosaurs if you don't mind the slightly SD form they used there).
It’s hard to find because inventory can be a little scattershot but sometimes dollartree will have little plastic doll houses that are the perfect size for 32 mm minis that at most need 5-10 minutes of cleanup body work and painting and their table ready
I love Dollar Tree. I get all kinds of neat bits to craft with. I found a great mutant humanoid shark toy that I want ti paint up there. Not sure yet how I'm going to terrify my players with it.
The dollar stores are my favorite place as well to get crafting stuff thank you for your nice comments on the man's best friend project and can't wait for the next one got a really good idea thank you damn Scotty to all your ideas and crafting style it inspires a lot of people
Been going there for a little while now and really surprised at what's there for food & all kinds of fun craft supplies. Definitely recommend people going there to try out a few things for building terrain.
I actually use a lot of those different tools from the dollar store! And those toy soldier line… I recently found a two pack of four-legged space spider/bug that I plan on adding fake fur or texturing putty to give them a strange free body.
Scotty, have you found that the makeup brushes’ bristles come loose? I’ve had chronically bad luck with this that, even with slightly pricier brushes. Eventually I’m going to have to realize that I might be the problem.
@@theDMsCraft I admit I AM. I might be working through some issues, but I always thought it was a matter of trying to get every last atom of paint out of the brush. I’ll revisit my technique. XO 💪🏻👍🏻
I'm super surprised by how little final faction customs there are out there especially after ashens did 2 whole vids on that line. Scale wise yeah they're far from dnd, but the hobbyist community have done multiple toy conversions and so on..
