I am a bang lover. I have two RU-vid channels. One is weight loss, my profession, and I wear Destiny in Tres Leches for that channel. My other channel is lifestyle over 60 and I wear Tea Rose in the same color and I just got Honeybush. Looks like Destiny but longer. I LOVE Honeybush. I did have to trim all the bangs.

I wear bangs all my life. I just don't like my look without bangs. I usually cut bangs into my toppers and wigs. So that makes shopping for alternative hair so much less stressful by far!

I'm so glad you did this video Taz. Micro bangs are so in style right now. I decided to cut my hair for Halloween to be Winona Ryder's character in Beetlejuice. It's grown out and looks like Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction. My partner says it's a Bettie Page style. I prefer a less severe/harsh bang like the ones you cut in your wigs and have been experimenting with trying to perfect that on a Belle Tress wig I purchased several months ago. It's starting to become wearable. Again, thanks for all the tidbits in your video. They help so many of us.

Thank you for these remarks! Especially from a gal that has the scoop on hairstyles! I was just thinking about that "micro" bang you speak of.. I saw a movie recently where a woman was sporting that type of bang. Winona's character had some drama going on, love the irregular cut of them! Again, thanks for sharing! I totally agree with you about lighter colors. I like lighter colors on short wigs. For longer wigs I like colors with more contrast. I also like undercut bangs. Belle Tress is offering some great styles with this type of bangs…yay!! Destiny is a pretty wig. She looks so cute on you.

I love both of the wigs shown today, but if you’re not blonde, Belle Tress has the worst color selection for medium browns/auburn hair. Both styles look beautiful on you. If I could find a wearable color, I’d order both styles today. Good to see you, just as always!❤

Hi Taz, I love bangs. I own 3 BT with bangs- London High Tea, Tea Rose, & Honeybush. However, I also love BT impeccable lace fronts. So what I do is pull a little more than half the hair up and away from my face with either heat or clips, & the rest is either a side swept bang or poofed up thin bang. This is the style that works for me as I make it my own. Thanks for this excellent review! Happy New Year❣️🥰♥️💐

I cut my own bangs in my wigs and toppers! I’ve worn bangs all my life… I have a very short forehead and bands conceals my low hairline . Also I have trouble wearing wigs because of my long measurement from my nape to my front hairline. If I wear the wig down to my front hairline, it looks wiggy. So bangs solves my problem!

I think wigs can be like anything we start to wear - think glasses, dentures, hearing aids etc. The brain has to adjust to new sensations. After several weeks of regular wear it stops registering and you simply dont think about it any more.

I have been looking all over for a wig with bangs (ideally, that I don’t have to have trimmed), low density, and preferably on the short side of medium length, and finding such has been a real challenge. My absolute favorite is the RW Classic Cut medium length pageboy; just perfect for me. However, the color choices are very limited, and none of them would work right on me. I’m 74, and though I was a brunette as a younger woman, I cannot wear a brunette color, and my skin looks utterly washed out in most blondes. The colors I’ve seen online that appear as if they might work for me are: Silver Stone, Lilac Silver, and British Milktea. I just saw Cookies’n’Cream also, and it may be an option for me, too. Like you, my forehead is just 3”, so a lot of the styles, even those with full-on bangs rather than side-swept bangs (or “fringe,” as the manufacturers seem to call them!) have bangs that are too long for my forehead. I am not adept with scissors for anything (!! Seriously…my mom saved my kindergarten report card where the teacher indicated I needed help with just one thing…scissors…and apparently I didn’t get it! 😄), so me trying to do any sort of trimming on a wig is out of the question. I just went to the site where I make my wig purchases and tossed both Destiny and Morning Storm, in the color British Milk Tea, onto my Wish List! It’s the hair tension. Try out different grips and maybe try a full cover cotton scalp cap before the grip. Stopped my itching from course synthetic fiber and made the wig quite comfortable:)

I would love to buy a wig but I’m to scared to wear one in case it blows off or it moves. My hair is shoulder length and blonde grey in colour. It has gone a lot thinner on the top and receded at the sides (I am 77yrs old) and I’m not sure what sort would suit me. Could you please give me some advice on both subjects. Thank you.

Bangs are really only youthful if they suit your face. If you look better with the hair off your forehead then that is what will create youthful looks for you.
