Probably because the next set has more cards for it. More players with this deck the better when the set hits. That's my guess.

Avabruck Caretaker too can win games almost by themselves, but too slow for current meta, sadly

lisette is too slow and needs to many things to line up eg board and lifegain outlet and mana open outland is great for sideboard reclusive vs sculptor: sculptor wins as its a snow permanent which counts towards blizzard brawl. too often you have 2 snow lands and a lair on turn 3. Plus niche is untapping troll aura land augur too slow and easy to remove and hard to get the payoff cemetery prowler probably sideboard as what would you cut in the 3 mana spot to get it in jewel thief is great find a way to get some in but on the flip side it can't power chariot alone gnarled professor: lessons in green suck for this deck and its too slow compared to oddity workshop warchief is good def sideboard if you can't fit it into main deck vorinclex cost a bit too much for the payoff, sideboard it if you really want to. in the right matchups like sagas and planeswalker its OP if opp can't remove it

I've gotten to Mythic in the last two seasons with MonoGreen but a faster version. The solution is utilizing more protections spells to deal with that: Namely Tamiyo's safekeeping protects vs "destroy" sweepers and Wild Shape is the best to try to survive e meathhook (1/5 spider mode). Sure, you cannot afford to run the 1-mana packleader, instead you need jaspera sentinel for the extra mana insurance. Also, Jewel thief is also a nice choice to play your stuff on curve and have that extra mana to either brawl or protect a creature. Hope this halps. Keep believing in Monogreen.

Agree, there are too many boardwipes which is just lazy play and removal is super cheap for Mono Green to be viable. I try and include things like haste and creatures with hexproof like Ava...

I love gruul werewolves its super funny/fun when it works out and the opponent can't answer the threats

@@AApnah13 yeah, the win condition is basically it randomly flipping to night and everything you have on the board doubles in power. Very sporadic. Frustrating when it doesn't work, but super fun when it does.

IMO 8 is perfect for mono green.

trend: 2 lands in opening hand and never draw a land again or 4 lands in opening hand and mana flood since day 1 but paper magic costs money so....f2p arena. I don't spend a single cent on this game until the RNG and shuffler is fixed

That’s probably you noticing that mono-color decks are more consistent than multicolor decks. It becomes impossible to get color-screwed, so you cut out a whole set of bad variance scenarios.

@@valentinegodek4681 For sure I agree with the consistency of mono colors being better. Im assuming its just sample size but in 29 matches i've seen 15 different decks only twice for boros and 6 times izzet. Im seeing more random piles while playing this. Might just be where I am in the ranking pool too.

Wrenn is more Mid Range where this deck is definitely more Aggro. You can put him in though he fits in decent.

I actually thought the opposite because I have been playing for 3 years now and I always buy the mastery passes and the bundles, I'm on the draw way more. My first year I use to make a tally sheet for being on the draw vs on the play because I thought I was losing my mind. Hundreds of games later I'm on the draw about 60% more often. I assumed it was to make the people who haven't invested money to get an edge. I have no idea what is going on, I just know its rigged for a fact.

The game is rigged or to be more specific, the ranked game. They milk the cash cows and in return grant them better winning chances. Those who don't spend money will be kept at a winrate close to 50% overall. Win too much and you suddenly get mostly screwed via land flood or lack of lands, 70% on the draw, bad curve.

I think CGB spends money on arena (as an investment of course, he needs the cards to create content and money) and you see him go 2nd so many times its not funny. MTGA is algo is busted. Just play limited new capenna. Opponent easily gets all 3 basic lands in play on turn 3. I get colour screwed playing a 2 colour deck. Yes i have the dual sac lands and the shard sac lands. Rinse repeat. How to beat it? Don't spend a single cent on the game. Find a diff game. I haven't so I still play MTGA but never will I spend money on this game

I have never paid any money and I reached mythic once, when the rogues/gruul/rdw werr tier 1. I played my own Kroxa deck, stuffed with removal.

I actually fare relatively well against mono black control and do pretty well against mono white. The deck I do have trouble against is esper control and azorious control.

I run snake skin veil and tamiyos safekeeping really helps against spot removal. Also run Froghemoth in addition to Ulvenwald Oddity to help against board sweeps.
