The first time I came to London four years ago with my daughters, we walked through the park and absolutely loved it. I took so many pictures at the Wellington Memorial. I made sure I had loads of pictures to show Matt. We made our way to the Princess Diana Memorial fountain. We made sure we went to the Hyde Park Holocaust Memorial as well. I've read so many books on the Holocaust and met Max Eisen, a Holocaust survivor who came to my daughter's high school a few years ago. When we came last year the grass was so brown from the heat. We have pictures of us in front of the Albert Memorial. It's massive! Thank you for the walk about Steve

Rhonda, amazing to be able to see these things and also bring back the memories from years ago. Yes the problem after all the summer concerts in Hyde Park is that everything just goes brown and dies off - not leaving a great attraction for those visiting afterwards. That must have been an incredible experience to have met Max Eisen, and hear from a survivor of the Holocaust. These people are just incredible and the emotion you feel when you meet them is undescribeable! Thanks as always Rhonda and love to all of you!

Hyde Park is gorgeous. Speakers Corner is quite the history - if that platform could talk!! The spot of the hangings and hecklings must have been a sinister place back in the day. Seems a lot of political changes, controversies, and such seems to be clustered around Hyde Park. What with Reform Tree, and others areas of the like, one could appreciate historical political changes (maybe not all for the better, LOL). However, there is the beauty of the wild life, the trees, and the gorgeous green grass! I would love to picnic on the grass. The Serpentine Lake would be a great place to go boating. I wonder if this is the lake you and Jaden and Gino went paddling in with a previous video (loved that one - so much fun). I would love to do that on a lazy afternoon. The trees lining the lake are wonderful and the walkway is so inviting to feed the ducks and sit with a coffee. And yes, it would make me ill as well jumping in and swimming in that freezing water. Yikes. It looks like a very clean lake at that. Great little cafe. One thing I notice from your videos that the English are great in doing - providing wonderful cafes positioned within the greatest (and less than) visitor features and exhibits. I love the Norwegian war memorial. The Police House is beautiful. Great to see it kept up so well. Great video! blessings.

You are spot on it is the video the three of us were in on the lake with the ducks, swans and the lido as well - great memory Luana - wow. Yes we love a great cafe with lovely views ☕🍰😄👍

10:17 The swimming area of the Lido is quite the thing, don't ya know! Not only does it dawn on you that you're swimming in unheated outdoor publicly accessible waters slap bang in the middle of London, but the not cheap daily fee and all sorts of unknown fears keep the numbers down to a pleasant level. As for worries about cleanliness and general flotsam, the white markers seen in the footage show where the 'secret' oxygenation bubble pipe runs.

Lovely post. Do remember going to the Serpentine and we must have gone out on a boat, can't imagine 🤔 why we wouldn't. I didn't realize just how big the park is. I was kind of disappointed 😞😔😕 that there was no one stating their case at speakers corner. It has a lot more history than I realized. Loved those flower 🌼🌸 beds with what looked like crocuses in them. I would love to be able to ride a horse 🐎 through there. What was the big statue you stood in front of ? Looking at it,albeit with only one contact in, it looked like someone in armor with a sword pulled out, but I am probably wrong. It was disappointing seeing more horrible cranes in the distance. The grass looked so nice and green. The video 📹 must have been filmed 🎥 earlier this year. We are so hot here and it hasn't 🌧 in ages so the grass isn't looking good. Interesting about how speakers 🔊 corner got it's name. I would say anything however stupid if I was waiting to get hung. I think 🤔 you should start getting free coffee ☕ from that coffee ☕😋 shop as you have mentioned them before. It didn't look great weather at first but cleared up later. I think you and Jaden should go on one of the boats on the Serpentine and video 📹 what you see from both of your points of view!

Lesley, love that idea back out on a boat on the Serpentine, so many great views out there, just added it to my list. That statue is of the Cavalry Memorial and from memory from WWI. I know that coffee shop is in such a lovely spot I keep going there and I will ask for promotional rates next time :) :) Speakers Corner is so interesting and love info on places like these. Thanks so much as always and yes this has been filmed over the last 3-4 months and bits collected to bring it all together :)
