I just fell in love with this hotel 😍 Thank you for the video. It's only the second one I'm watching about this hotel, but I can't really imagine any better one. 💯👍🏻🙌🏻
Thank you very much for the video! the gives me good insight about what to expect. I'm going there in about 2 1/2 months. Very informative. Keep up the good work!
We have stayed at bahia principe akumal, 3 times, the a la carte's are fantastic. Alux and Maiko at Sian Ka'an and the peruvian restaurant at Coba were our favouites. This hotel is the best value hotel in Riveria Maya
Hi Andrew. It was really nice to chat with you and Mona when you were recording this vid. You 2 do a bloody great job showing how to navigate and what’s available. I have been waiting patiently for you to post this Sian Kaan vid so that I could say hello 😀. Really enjoy your work! Steve and Sandra
Hi Steve and Sandra!! It was great meeting and chatting with you too! Thank you for the kind words and we really appreciate you watching our videos 🙏🏻😊 we hope you had a great trip at the Sian Ka’an!
Thanks for showing the menu QR codes in your videos at the various Bahia resorts, some of those QR code links lead to menus that I can't seem to find just going through their regular website. I am going in 11 days so it's great to see recent menus and recent video footage. Your older videos about these resorts helped seal my decision to book here, so it's pretty funny/cool that you're now posting updated videos shortly before I leave. Place still looks great.
My wife and I have stayed at the SK 4 times, first time was 2016. I loved the place back then. We went back for 3 more years, but noticed how there were some improvements, the rooms hadn't been upgraded at all. We changed rooms multiple times in our stays there due to different reasons, but the common denominator was lack of maintenance. 2019 was our last trip to the SK, and we haven't been anywhere since due to the pandemic. After reading some of the more recent reviews, I would not come back to the SK.
thank you sm for this video!! i'm going soon with my family, found this so helpful and informative 🫶🏽 definitely checking out ur other videos on the sister resorts too!
Very nice video . Just one question is it true that they have snake outside and some big spider in the room ? I like the hotel a lot but I’m scared when some people saying about the snake and spiders
I loved this place. Roof top hot tub was awesome. Plus I over tipped all the staff and they treated us like royalty. 👑 😊 I never waited in line for anything. Even the chef shook my hand!
We were here in 2019 and are booked to come again in April. I’m a little concerned about the comments regarding lack of upkeep in the rooms so hopefully we don’t run into any issues. And fyi, those creepy crawlies also include scorpions so recommend bringing a flashlight!
Nice video thank you. Wanted to know there’s no swim up bar in the pools? Even the last one you showed where the music was playing? Didn’t see a bar close to it
I was interested to see your takes on this resort. I booked a stay Sian Ka'an in December 2022 and only spent one night there. My room was considered a "luxury" room and it was far from luxury. I was in a ground floor room that smelled horribly like mold and mildew. My room didn't have any curtains on the windows or sliding door. There was only the blackout shades that left 2 inch gaps on both sides of the windows/doors that made it easy for anyone walking by to look into the whole room, The only place to go for privacy was in the bathroom with the door closed, So while in the bed, it was full viewing from the outside. This was very upsetting to say the least. The only other piece of furniture to sit on in the room was a broken down small couch that had no support when sitting. The TV was on a wobbly base that was close to falling down. I was very disappointed to say the least and ended up switching to a different resort. Just wanted to give my honest opinion for others. Please take it or leave it.
Thanks for sharing loved it. Going Sunday this week have a question for the shows at night where can we see them u said Tulum and something else ? Let me know
Hello, where we going next, I love your informational videos, me and my friends are going to vacation in one of these resorts, I just have a quick question, I’m not sure if I heard wrong or not but does staying at one of these resorts grant access to all the other Bahia resorts and everything they offer? Or do we only have access to the one we stay at?
Yes - there are tiers. Sian Ka’an has access to Akumal, Tulum and Coba. Akumal has access to Tulum and Coba. Tulum only has access to Coba. Coba can only access Coba 👍🏻
It depends on what you prioritize on your vacation. This one is very secluded, very lush and jungly and very quiet. This resort is also very far from the beach - a 10-15 golf cart away, so that’s something to keep in mind. The food and service are great as well.
this is helpful......am interested in going to this property and was hoping this review would inform me what amenities i can (and can"t) use at any sister properties........
@@jimhache765 We moved from Sian Kahn to Akumal good reason, you can still visit all the hotels. PS SK needs a major overhaul, it is outdated patio's don't open etc. Nice lobby are/bar decent entertainment, most people seem to go to the other hotel at night. If you go to SK it isn't a problem to ride on the carts to wherever you want to go. They have monkey's in the trees in SK
@@WherewegoingNext Thank you! I was a little upset about my husband booking Sian Ka’an because we’ve gone to Talum twice and I really like it, but after watching your video I think it’ll be perfect! We’re going by ourselves for a relaxing time and so I think he did great!
Thank you for all your videos! What is your personal favourite Grand Bahia Principe resort between Coba, Tulum, Akamul, and SK? We are going in May and have booked with SK. For being the higher end resort, it doesn't look as grand as the other ones (looking at the other lobbies and pools in your other videos at Coba, Tulum and Akamul). I'm afraid we booked the wrong resort.
I'm finding conflicting information about access to buffets across the resort....we are planning to stay at Akumal- will we have access to all of the buffets at each resort? Is there more than one buffet at Akumal? Had great experiences at Coba and Tulum in past visits and would love to be able to access those and Sian Ka'an.... what was your experience? Which one did you like best?
Here is what it says on the Akumal website regarding the all-inclusive and buffets. There is only one main buffet at Akumal www.bahia-principe.com/en/resorts-in-riviera-maya/resort-akumal/all-inlcusive/
How long did it take to get between the Sian Ka'an and the other resorts included (Coba, Tulum & Akumal)? Oh and were there a lot of vegetarian options?
@@WherewegoingNext How often do the trolleys come by? Do you get to eat at any of the sister hotels as much as you would like if you stay at the Sian Ka'an (i see that the other resorts have limited a la carte times to go per stay length)
We prefer RIU Playacar - but it depends what you prefer… Sian Ka’an is smaller, more immersed in the jungle and a bit far from the beach, but it’s adults only… RIU Playacar is on the beach, is more spread out and open, but not adults only.
We’ve never had any issues 🤷🏼♀️ we’ve always gone during the day and stuck to the tourist areas and felt totally safe. But if u go looking for trouble, I’m sure you’ll find it - so use discretion.
Thanks for Bahia Prinicipe Trip. I watching the Serie of the Different Bahia Principe Hotels very informativ. Keep on Going. Last Year we was Bahia Prinicipe Grand La Romana in Dominican Republic. Was a 2 Week Holyday. This year we are going to Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro for 22 Days Family Holyday. All is perfect with your Videos and nice business you make. (Joke: If you need a Partner for this business I am here in cold Germany )
