Thank you so much for posting such a thorough video tour! This video is the reason we booked our stay at this beautiful resort! It didn’t disappoint! Everyone is so friendly and the whole resort is amazingly clean!
“Great resort. I’ve been 4 or 5 times, including the Dunamar next door. Great beach with tons of trees for shade, which is on the top of “must have” list. The food is great which is typical of all riu palaces. You can’t go wrong at this resort.
Thank you for the BEST resort videos on RU-vid! The minor details as well as QR codes make our decisions much, much easier. Went to Riu Palace Mexico at the end of August. Absolutely LOVED everything about the resort, especially the food and employees! Thanks to your videos, we have already booked the Riu Caribe in April...and may even book one at this resort in July or August. Will keep my eyes on rates every day. Thanks again, and can't wait to see the differences in the Palace and regular Riu hotels.
Thank you so much for all the kind words!! 🙏🏻 we first visited the RIU Palace México 10 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it as well - and have been going to RIU hotels ever since! Have a great time at Caribe and let us know what you think! ☺️
Thanks for the great and detailed videos! It's giving us some great info and helping us to make a difficult decision about where to go this winter. Keep it up!
I just discovered your channel and I love your videos! After watching this one I've decided to book here..going to look for your videos for all my future trips..Thank you.
Trying to decide between here, Planet Hollywood Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres and Grand Pladium!beach and foodwise, what would you recommend? Thank you!!
We’ve only been to Planet Hollywood and Riu Palace Costa Mujeres - out the of 2, we definitely recommend RP Costa Mujeres!! The food, service and rooms are far superior to the PH. The beach is basically the same (they share the same Costa Mujeres beach) and is amazing at both resorts.
Hi have you never stayed at Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres a few hundred metres away? I enjoy your videos and hoped to see that resort as the rooms are perfect and the resort looks stunning
Thank you for this very detailed review. We have booked for end of Feb '25 for 2 weeks. Travelling from Jersey, United Kingdom. First time here, can't wait 😊
Hi Andrew ....thanks for the video with all the details. looking to book for 7 nights with two teenage kids for end of this month. Would you suggest Riu Caribe or the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres . We love to spend a lot of time on the beach . We loved the Riu palace Riviera Maya last December .
We absolutely loved the RIU Palace Costa Mujeres! Being at a Palace resort gives you a bit better food and service - plus this one is next to Dunamar, which has awesome water slides 👍🏻
Yes, this is a family resort. It looks like you get about $100 off for a child up to age 17 on tripcentral. I guess it depends on which site you book through
Hi Andrew and Mona, thanks for another excellent report. I hope other people appreciate your level of detail! I love the way you use waypoints, and also warn people of possible dangers. Is there a town with a 5th Ave. like in Playa del Carmen north of the Cancun airport? I guess downtown Cancun is too far away. take care
Thanks David! We have been getting great feedback on our detailed tours - thank you for noticing! We don’t know of another 5th ave other than in Playa del Carmen 🤔 the Cancun strip is a bit of a drive away, so if you’re looking to explore a nearby town, this might not be the resort for you 🤷🏼♀️
We are actually staying at this resort in April for 8 nights so this is good timing for another preview. How was the drink service on the beach ? Thanks for the great reviews.
Thanks for watching!! We’re not big drinkers, but we noticed the servers coming by quite often 👍🏻 the service at this hotel was great over all! Enjoy your trip and let us know what you thought!
Hello - I am staying there couple nights to attend wedding. May I know which airport transfer you used to take y'all to the hotel? Since I am NOT staying at least 3-nights, the hotel will not provide the transfer. Thanks for sharing!
I think you so much for your reviews. These are awesome! OK I gotta ask, out of hard rock, Riviera, Maya, Rio, Costa, Mujeres, and Planet Hollywood, which one would you choose? Lol. I like your review on hard rock rivera Myya with the rooftop terrace. I’ve gone to excellence and usually do the two-story rooftop, Spectacular! But excellence didn’t have a lot of activities. So that brings me to planet Hollywood, it does look like you can do a lot over there. The rooms don’t seem too spectacular, the beach seems OK but what are your thoughts? And of course, hard rock? My wife and I are looking for something that’s nice, where there is a decent amount of activities Doesn’t have to be a lot, but not where we’re just going to eat and swim either. Please let me know! Thank you so much.
We would definitely recommend the Hard Rock over Planet Hollywood - the resort, food and staff are all much better! The Hard rock also has a large array of activities and live entertainment to choose from 👌🏻
Great video. Love these detailed tours! Having visited most, if not all RIU Hotels in Mexico, which one would you recommend the most? We’re a couple in our late 20s. Visited RIU Palace Riviera Maya in 2021 and loved it there.
Hey Olivia! For a young couple like yourselves, we def recommend the RIU Latino! This resort is adults-only, right on the gorgeous Costa Mujeres beach, has tons of amazing entertainment and is pretty new (opened in October 2022)!!
Hey there! We went there around the same time you both were there and enjoyed it! Have you been to Riu Vallarta yet? as I am interested in that next vacation. Thank you 😀
Hi question for a 10 year wedding anniversary would you say this hotel or RPRM as can’t decide between the 2. It will just be me and my wife travelling
We prefer the RP Costa Mujeres. This resort is excellent all around, and has a better beach. RPRM doesn’t have much going on at night either - whereas RPCM has a great bar plus access to Dunamar next door that has a disco plus RIU parties.
Yes they definitely have drink service on the beach, including alcohol 👍🏻👍🏻 there’s no food on the beach, but the snack bar is right on the pool deck not far away
@@WherewegoingNext Thank you for the fast response! I’m booking a trip in July and all I want to do is sit on the beach with an alcoholic beverage in my hand all day 😂☀️
The water is heavily dependent on the weather and the seasons - but on average, the water is very clear and calm. Isla Mujeres blocks most of the sargassum from this beach 👍🏻
