It's been 33 years since l was a student pilot in Fort Worth and used to fly all over Texas, but still flying over the land looks so familiar. I noticed you flew over south Padre island, l had a very intense flying experience down there, back in the day. Enjoy Mexico.
The photography was pure artwork. The night scene with the moon was fabulous. You could frame that shot and sell it at the hotel gift shop. Port Aransas has the same sargassum problem. It comes from Africa and floats across the ocean. It is a constant battle to keep a beach clean from its effects. Enjoyed the review. The resort can use this video as a sales tool and you can get extra views and possibly more subscribers. Maybe you can do Greece next? Joe, this is a very good video and shows your craftsmanship. Thanks again for the quality entertainment. It beats Netflix!
Sargassum comes from the fertilizers that are dumped into the Rio Bravo, travel through the sea and fertilize the algae, which then reach the entire Gulf of Mexico.

I absolutely enjoyed this video and I think as long as you stay in the resort areas, it should be quite safe. 10 days sounds like a dream to me. Now going to Cancun is on my bucket list.

Never too early for Jack when you're on vacation! LOL Nicole's new outfit looked so pretty on her! Good Choice. All the food looked scrumptious! Made me hungry! Ya'll made me wish we had spent more time at our resort. We learned to catch local buses and went all over the country-side sightseeing and eating at local cafes and from street vendors. We met interesting people and often didn't wander back to the resort until midnight. We took the ferry to Cozumel but didn't hang around the tourist areas. Got some good bargains in the little shops along the way too. I'm so glad ya'll had a good time and showed us all the sights. Thanks.

We normally go the Riu Palace in Playa del Carmen, but we are thinking about going to this one and skipping the long van ride to Playa! Great video and we love Riu Palace!

When are you coming to Canada If you start on the west coast and Vancouver Island in the Spring and Summer it is beautiful, this coast does not get too cold only in the winter's Nov-Mar and we get rain not much snow on this coast. Alberta and onto the east coast you get lots of snow and cold fall and winters. BC is very moderate.

WOW! This day in time, I would have to say that $3700 for a ten day, all inclusive, trip for two doesn't really seem that bad. The hotel and beaches were absolutely amazing. And I have to say that Nicole is always a beautiful lady, but with her hair done and the vacation attire, she was looking absolutely exceptional. Glad you two had a chance to get away from the road for a while and just enjoy a little of the finer things life has to offer. Will be looking forward to your next video. I think you have done the best job of showing the dining options I've seen yet. Of course I haven't seen them all but also I don't see how any could be better.
My wife and I went there back in '98 and surfed time share offerings to get free trips, meals and drinks. One of the trips we won was to Isla Mujeires which included free lunch, dinner and drinks. It was in the mid 90s for temp. and after a few hours my wife decided to go back to the air conditioned ferry boat to relax while I strolled around some more. I came up to what looked like an old marina with old rotten piers and pilings next to which a girl of maybe 5 or 6 years old was sitting on an old Coleman cooler. Now I had figured out the first day that everything was for sale "for only one peso senor!!......off the regular price! The little girl motioned me over and she opened the cooler to reveal a bunch of dead stinky fish. I told her in broken Spanglish that I wasn't interested in the rotten fish thinking maybe they were some sort of local delicacy. I must have been the only one to come by her that day and she was almost in tears pleading with me to buy her fish. I told her no for the last time and then she pretended to take a fish and hold it in the air over her head. It was then I noticed 3 pelicans sitting on some of the pilings. The closest one flew off the piling and headded to the girl but turned away seeing no fish. I might be a stupid gringo but I got it. I bought a fish and held it up by the tail and the first pelican flew in fast and snatched it from me without touching me. The little girl then motioned for me to throw the next fish in the air and the 2nd pelican did a snappy barrel roll while grabbing it. The 3rd pelican dove in from higher up and did a high speed loop after grabbing the fish. I was so happy with the show that I gave the little girl 5 pesos for each fish and bought them all. As I was leaving an old man selling ice cream treats from a three wheeled pedal cart came by and I bought myself an ice cream bar and one for the girl "for only one peso senor!!....off the regular price." After getting back to the boat my wife said I stank to high heaven and I had to explain what happened. She said she wished she could have seen it. So my best memory fom the trip was a happy little girl, a neat old man and 3 amazing pelicans.
It's been a long time since I've been to Cancun. The orange juice is always freshly squeezed and very good. I rarely drink orange juice at home. I do like Isla Mujeres for a change of pace from Cancun.
Great video. Love tortilla soup. That square in your soup could be some type of cheese. I have seen that in a video from a Mexican cook. Pretty good price.

For the cost with everything included, great deal. The food looked 5star, with alcohol beverage free ($10+ elsewhere). Great job! Nicole looked like she was having a good time.
