I’m blown away by your ability to simultaneously talk about the inks while keeping coherent pace with the inking and writing… great exploration as always, I’d watch you talk about any colours of ink!
@@dianalovestoplan I thought that was the case, until I realise the voice over consistency is the same when the creator is swatching the inks and reviewing them in close-up! But I guess we can only find out only when the creator reveals their secrets.
Random thought.. Wizard’s Pencil is such a great ink name! Love this series so much! Mystic Forest is beautiful, I love a very dark green ink.. Private Reserve Ebony Green is my current fav.. the Alchemy bottles are a showpiece! The Kaweko inks hold their own.
Recent follower, have been really enjoying your season 2 ink exploration videos. Kobe inks, btw, are actually made by Sailor, for the Nagasawa stationery company based in Kobe, Japan. Sailor also makes Bungubox's inks, if you've tried any of those.
I have emerald fusion inked up for May. Such a fun color. I really like so many of these greens. Some definitely made it to my wish list. I find 3 Oysters Namsan takes a long time to dry. I used it once and had to leave my journal open and it just took forever to dry. I however did a little test and mixed the Namsan with some dilution solution and noticed it dried faster than without it. So that's interesting. (wonder if it would help noodlers ink)? Thank you for showing the greens and going over last years greens... Love this so much. My wish list is definitely growing... lol
Adding the dilution solution is a great idea!! I didn't think about adding it to the noodlers. I will give that a try. Glad to know your wishlist is growing hahah 💖
Oh I can’t wait to see all the green inks in this video! Currently an ad playing so I thought I’d write a comment while waiting 😅 I’ve thought about ordering a sample of Robert Oster 🥑, & it sounds like I should then? 😉😌
I finally ordered Peter Pan because of this swatching (and free shipping threshold culpable deniability on the Lightning preorder lol) so I'm here replaying this for the unboxing!
I am so glad you had Peter Pan to compare to Kelp Tea, I just purchased the Kelp Tea and adore that color. I just spent the past 5 days swatching all my inks. I have 152 ink bottles and samples in 2 Tomoe River Paper notebooks. I am so glad to see what I have all together in color families. I now have a problem of where to and what to store my inks. I have considered getting the test tube holder but I want to stack my vials. Could you tell me how you store your inks? I love your swatching videos the most and love play the mix you have for your swatching I always see a new shade and love seeing the ink properties. Can’t wait to see what color you swatch next!
Thank you Tina!! I'm so glad you're having so much fun swatching your inks!! I do store my samples in a vial holder (aff link amzn.to/4bMyIp6 ) and I have a small shelf that I keep my bottles in. I try to store everything upright to prevent spilling. The vial holder I liked can be stacked on top of each other too. I have several of them and stack them about 4 high! 😊
I find that only certain retailers offer samples. If you're in the USA, Goulet Pens, Pen Chalet, Vanness Pens, or Yoseka Stationery have samples ❤️️ If you have some friends in the hobby too you can ask/trade samples with them 😊
Oh I have Herbin Vert Empire (have you tried that too?), but I’ve never tried the Vert Olive. I also have Ambre De Birmaine (not a green one though) & I’m really enjoying them. And - I inked up my second pen with R&K Alt Goldgrün today 😉 Have it in my Pilot Kaküno & also TWSBI Eco
It is a cool green for sure!! If you like shimmer I highly recommend Kiwi Inks Emerald Green, or a lighter ink is Sailor Ink Studio 160, or if you want a permanent ink Rohrer and Klingners SketchINK Klara is a great choice too!
I got the endless alchemy, too! I love the color, and the bottle is breathtaking! I'm going to cut the cork down a little bit so mine sits still when I want it to
