What made you do background first this time? I feel like you often do the focus first and then add background? Not a dis; just curious.

Can we do wet on wet technique for the background with gouache ?

You can try but in my experience it doesn't work the same way as with watercolors. The colors don't "melt together" the same way, but it might still create an interesting effect! :)
