🌸 Japan vlog pt 4: art aquarium ginza walkthrough, cup noodle museum, Chinatown yokohama

We visited the art aquarium museum in Ginza and it really is so beautiful! I recommend going and checking it out!
We stopped by for a bit of food before walking over to the cup noodle museum. I was really looking forward to making my own custom cup noodles but limited tickets are handed throughout the day and it was sold out by the time we got there :(
But it was really interesting to see how the cup noodle/instant noodle empire came to be! It was really inspiring.
Afterward we walked over a bridge to the bus stop and took the bus over to Yokohama Chinatown--the largest Chinatown in Japan. There were so many snacks and restaurants!
Ended the night taking an almost hour long subway to Shibuya where we had hot pot.

I changed my mind and will take a day trip to Yokohama since I heard it was like a 30 min trip from Tokyo. So you went from Ginza station to Yokohama station by train? Is there a Toyocho train to Yokohama? I plan to go early in the morning and return to Tokyo in the evening. I won’t stay overnight in Yokohama as I think it might be enough to see there for 8-9 hours like Noodle museum, Chinatown, ride Ferris wheel to take pics of city, Markis mall, and Transformer statue.

Hi! Correct--we took the line from Ginza to Yokohama. I dont remember the line exactly but yes. I'm not sure about Toyocho train. I would have to check the map but there might need to be some transfer if there's not a direct line. I dont think an overnight stay in Yokohama is necessary. You can definitely fit a lot in one day since it's not that far from Tokyo. If anything, you can always go back the next day. My friend went a different day to see the Transformer statue then went to explore other areas close by.
