Same here but next time when ur doing this open it up at the last part and twist it and secure it by pressing on it. It will solve the part i think your on (when they open it) Ik its tricky i tried twice and both ways it worked they look pretty good!
if your paper only has one coloured side, start the folds with the coloured side facing you like in the video. No matter which side coloured you start with. the end product u want to achieve is : -All the middle lines of the petals are folded towards u (mountain fold) , outside petals are folded backward (valley folds). centre of the petal is facing backwards. then for the last step, the flower is divided into 2 (left when held upright. centre of the flower in facing south.) and 3 folds. right side, fold behind the flower. then left side. fold over to the front of the petal. Thank you for making this video! love the end product and easy folds.tips that might be helpful, to use single coloured paper might make differentiate front and back for the viewers easier. and maybe rotating the tough step around so we have a visual idea of hw it looks like. but still one of my fav origami tutorials to follow through
