@@leavingfingerprints I'm so glad! Loving following along with all of y'all's adventures!!!! You guys are amazing!!! I love that y'all chase your dreams! We only have 1 life! 🇺🇲🙏♥️🤍💙🙏🇺🇲
This Aussie family did a 3 month road trip around America 9 years ago and loved it. We home schooled our high school senior and junior. A great thing we did was to google "free things to do in my location." Interstate highways have rest stops with information centres where you can get information. Don't forget a paper road map, in addition to digital, as you will loose service at times.
Summer in the cooler area and winter in the warm climates 😊😎. This sounds like so much fun and a great rest for y’all. This has been really hard on your family. So, a well deserved break
Rest mama rest! We are in Missouri, about 40 minutes from STL. We have plenty of space and an RV hook if you guys want a place to stop along your ways. My 7 kiddos would love to roam with yours ❤
Not for sure if your aware - but the national park has a handicap pass - your family should qualify its 50 percent off camping and free admission to some national parks - check your local park it covers entrance fees, standard amenities its called an accessibility pass
Come down to the Gulf Coast ! Let the kids play in the sand and water. It is not so busy starting middle of September. Have a wonderful time and enjoy your time out exploring with your family ❤️
If you go to South Dakota Badlands are great to see and Mount Rushmore great to see They also a Corn palace it's made out of Corn.. they also have a Dinosaur park what has life size statues .. I went to South Dakota couple times when younger ..
Also if any kids like space like the solar system if your in a state where they are space centers they have tours kids could go on to learn alot about space ..
Oh my goodness ..when and how did you come to this decision? I have been sick and in the hospital and guess i somehow missed a video? Did you post one about when you decided?
Enjoy your travels Tammy and Chris and family. You have worked so hard. I have watched you since Lemon was a baby. No one is harder working than you two you deserve to rest and see the wonderful countryside. Xx
I can't wait until I'm able to finally retire my husband already has .we have a large 5th wheel and want to travel . I wish you many blessings and good luck on your amazing journey. Will you be selling your existing property
Ya being homeless is not a choice and i can only imagine the hardship on that: I’m sorry you went through that challenge. ❤️ I’d be terrified i was homeless.
devils lake area in wisconsin is very beautiful would love to meet up with you when you come through wisconsin. just not the milwaukee area i avoid that with a passion. have fun🤗
Hi everyone sending you all prayers and hugs, please take care of yourselves before you start your next new chapter, you are a super mum and dad teaching your children life skills, love watching your vlogs, make lots of memories and lots of fun xx ❤🙏👏👏⭐💐
Nervous as it’s a new journey and I do get nervous in new areas I’m not familiar with. If I didn’t have Chris I’d never have the guts to do this. Def not sad. Off grid life w kids is not for me ❤️
We are not keeping anything. Everything is going/ I don’t even want a shed. I want this to be the past. I feel it was a great lesson it tested my marriage . But I want to start over :) everything is going
@@MelWasHere2021 it’s a tech world. We won’t be sharing what he does for our family safety. We’ve had social media friends harassed at work. I’ve been harassed . Shoot we’ve had ppl call the bishop of my church and my x husband. I’m sure they loved talking to my x. He’s a very mean man 😂. And yall know I work on platforms and am now working companies. 😊 it opens the doors to live on the road 🌻🌻
@@leavingfingerprints Safety is of the utmost importance for everyone. While I'm sad that your off-grid life didn't go as planned, I can understand the need for you and our crew to go to the next chapter of life. We're "beginning" homesteaders (I'm 55 and hubby is 61). Every day, chore or project can be a hassle, takes longer, etc, but it's our dream. Just as you traveling has been something you've talked about for YEARS! I now many other "families" that travel like this, and still post to social media, they just wait until they've left the area before posting (safety reasons). As far as Chris and you working to support this dream, remote work is available everywhere. I'm a ghost writer (I've written well over 200 books for other people) and make a very good living from it from the confines of our homestead.
I know you have a few children with special needs. Are they in therapy like OT, PT, or Speech? Just wondering how to swing that while traveling? Just a special needs momma here that is curious about that 😊
I'm the Mother of a Special Needs Adult if I had a nickel for every single time another Special Needs mom questioned how I raised my Son I would have millions of dollars. It's not anyone's place to question Tammy or Chris about the decision to travel with their CHILDREN. Would you dare to question Meg and Mike (Norp and South)about traveling the globe with their nine children, five are adopted one has down syndrome and one has a disability? They are not quite as stable for their children as Tammy and Chris but because they aren't tattooed they give the impression based solely on looks as more stable. You may not approve of the choices but they have the right to make the choices for their children just as you do for your own special needs child. Tammy and Chris you are doing a good job as parents. Enjoy the adventure before your Family ❤
@@ElizabethHolden-mq8iy I was not judging them or talking down on Tammy and Chris! I was simply curious about it so calm down Karen🤦🏼♀️ I have 2 special needs children and would never dream of telling someone how to raise their children bc I know the struggle! Raise your kids how you want to hell that's what we all do so not really sure why your getting pissy with me but have a nice life😘
We have a concrete slab with water, electric and it hooks up to septic...SOOOO we can def give y'all some creature comforts...and we live on 2 acres that is fenced in so the kids can safely play.
What part of FL yall in? We’ll prob take that offer as I’ve wanted to meet you anyways :) how fun. We won’t need a rv hook up though. We are overland traveling aka van life. We need small to get into some of these monuments. 😊🌻
Tammy the weather here is great in December....esp compared to where y'all are now ..we would LOVE to host y'all and get some cash flow into y'all's pockets...there are SOOOO many cool things here to do with the kids!!!!we are both going thru it as women in this season of our lives...just know we aren't weirdos or creeps.lol.Chris and Brent are sooo much alike so I know they will get along very well...hehe I just heard ya say y'all want to make it to FL...just know we got y'all's back when and if y'all make it...light blessings and Pagan Love 💚💚💚
