Hi Nigel Great video again. Your peppers are looking good, I might even think about getting a Vito pod myself if I have enough room in the attic. Those leeks sure did look tasty, I am not growing any this year on the allotment due to the dreaded Allium Leaf Minor I got lost year but might try some at home in buckets. I've grown my veg for decades, but I've never done potatoes. So 2024 is the year. I chose Kennebac and Adirondack Blue. So I will go back and watch those potato videos again, with a keener interest.😉

yes, nigel. the new season, eagerly awaited for, is now starting. my main potatoes this year, like yourself, will be charlotte. i don't know about you, but i was really impressed with last years single seed potato challenge. so much so that my friend, ron shaw, sent me TWO potatoes he saved fron last years crop. i'm determined to see how i would have done. i've also entered this years challenge. while my health is on an even keel, why not. a bit of fun with a possible harvest at the end. lol..........................brian

Hi there. Did I see it right that you left your onions out in these boxes, outside the house, covered, over winter? As I have no space in the house where it would be suitable for onions I will give it a try this year 🙂 Thanks for sharing. Btw. do you think this might work for potatoes as well?

What do you do with the spring onions when the emerge, do you separate them?
