Fun fact: The attack Magnus-VonGrapple 2 uses in this video is the strongest attack in the two classic Paper Mario games. Doing a total of 30 damage when unblocked.
Mario's ability: Stored Counter Stored Counter takes all damage Mario receives and turns it into damage potential (FP). Mario then uses the power stored from damage to power up his normal attacks (badge attacks).
@@prettybirb I am absolutely saddened by this fact. I was thinking every boss would die by hitting you once, it's like touching a lava spike shield or something
Use HP and FP Drain badges to get extra FP and to heal when you attack enemies! And make sure to use soft stomp to get rid of any enemy defense! Add shrink stomp (not sleepy stomp!) too if you're unsure of if it'll kill or not so you have no* chance of dying!
Shame that even with two-hundred, expecting 600 FP recovered to use for those insane 128 FP moves is still asking for too much. That 610 FP meant much better luck than what might be the usual
@@a_MhetOtw.4334pity flower has a 30 percent chance to give you 1 fp every time you take damage. So 200 pity flowers will give you about 60 fp everytime you are hit
Wait hold up. 2:57, Mario takes damage before the cluster of audience members actually hits him. Also unguarded and no defend plus, the attack deals 30 damage. Jesus.
Mario: (trying not to laugh) I'd _pity_ to think of what'll happen if you hit me. Me: (70 Double Pain badges equipped) Okay, I'm going. If you need me, (points gun to brain) (in a serious voice) _don't_
Each has its own activation of 30%. It's like the Happy badges: equipping multiple does not mean you've "stacked" them per se, including their probability
