Deja vu??? But, that's OKAY, I love watching and yes I watched in total a second time. I didn't detect any difference from yesterday's video BUT sure do see a TURTLE TOPIARY WITH THAT BOXWOOD, the smaller bush the head and the larger could be shaped into its shell. THANKS ERIN!!!

A very tasteful arrangement for that center urn Erin!! I do find it difficult to effectively space my focal point pieces in the garden. I guess it just takes a lot of trial and error. What saves me is keeping my stone pieces a similar color and/or texture. That shearing of the boxwood looked so therapeutic. Thanks for sharing!

I am using those same clips with my sweet peas. I got mine at Dollar Tree. The package had two sizes but about the same amount. I like them.

I love the urn this year, I think it’s very striking and will be beautiful. I put birds of paradise in pots in my mom’s Palm Springs garden a few years ago and they were amazing! Also I don’t know how you do this and have another job?! I hope you have help.

Always enjoy coming along with you in the garden. Sadly my Pagoda Dogwood had same thing happen as your maple. 20 year old tree...We are going to do creative pruning, maybe make it a Bonsai look :) Don't want to lose it

I have a tiny service berry tree that the center trunk at the very top didn't come back. I want to prune that part off but hubby wants to give it more time🤦‍♀️ I too am thinking topiary.

Lovely to see your garden Erin, it's beautiful. I keep my Acer going, which is in a pot, by watering only with rain water, and by covering the soil with small stones which help to keep the moisture in. Fingers crossed that yours gets better, and I hope you have a good day in your garden too 😁

Hi Erin I’m in the market for an edger. Landscapers here charge 55.00 an hour and my husband can’t seem to edge with the string trimmer. Besides I love gardening so I want to do it myself. I saw yr video on the Troy edger, wondering how you feel about now that you have had it for a couple of yrs. I’m also going to be purchasing the bahco shears you showed as well. Thank you for the edging video it was very helpful.

We just moved and I am wondering if there is a way to save a boxwood that has probably never been trimmed…. It’s at least 4 ft tall with foliage only on the last foot or so. It’s rather mangy with a lot of the interior on one side showing as if the previous owners had something blocking that are. Any tips on pruning this to encourage interior growth?

I'm in Milw WI & I thought things were warmer here than usual -- I called it behind & ahead at the same time as I kind of lost the cool flower season ... so that's my question - I finally grew sweet pea seeds & got them planted in a container with some trellising --- my question is how long do sweet peas bloom where you live? The weather here fluctuates so much - 90 degrees today 70 degrees yesterday.... guess I will have to wait & see what cool flowers die off early because of the heat.

I need more videos!! I'm constantly looking to see if a new one has been posted, as I thoroughly enjoy your calm demeanor and the knowledge that you share with us. Hearing the sharp cutters cut through the boxwood, made me kinda' want to get a few boxwoods of my own and the sound of the shearers had a ring of satisfaction. 'Not and expert," but I sure enjoy the honesty and clarity in which the information is delivered. Keep up the good work, maybe even more regularly than every 5 days! Hehe

I collected a ton of old bread bag clips for my sweet peas. Work great. Now they have paper ones., so they degrade if forgotten in the garden.

Thank you for taking us along on your planting and garden chores. It looks so nice with the sun out. Here on the West coast we have not had not much sun so far and hopefully starting in July we will get some long sunny days. My gardens in the front and in the back have loved the cooler and wetter weather. Anyways thank you once again and enjoy the rest of your day.

This video was perfect timing. I have a very stressed Forest Pansy Redbud (FPR) that I thought was fairly established…WRONG! Our Southern California drought is taking its toll on it. Ive gotten some good advice to baby FPR with deep soaks of water every 3 days or so. My leaves are so crispy that I wondered if I should defoliate…at least some of them. Thoughts? Sending you positive vibes on your gorgeous tree.

I have Dahlias up now. Can'[t wait to see my first ever blooms. My potato plants are doing great. Garlic not so much as well as my beans. Tomato plants are awesome and my peppers are really great. Pickling cucs are thriving but my straight 8 limping along. I'm in St Louis so weather here has been wonky. Love your videos. I learned to garden in Michigan. I had a weeping cherry that all the weeping parts died but now the first tree that had been grafted is growing. I will keep the tree even though I'm sure my neighbors laugh at it. Love you and your videos so much.
