29:55 teki no id benim hoya minibelle’ime çok benziyor. Serpens’i yavaş yavaş alıştırabilirsiniz normal ev koşullarına.
That’s nice! I’ve been to South Tyrol and the climate was perfect 🤩 My Serpens unfortunately gets crispy and starts yellowing whenever I take it out of the cloche 😬
Your freebie cutting in the red pot could be a Hoya Minibelle? Hoya Noid in the white pot could be a Meliflua? Thick stem, long space in between the nodes, elongated succulent leaves… But when looking up the Hoya West-Timor it does look similar 😊 I don’t spray/mist my Hoyas and they grow well. Maybe they just like the fertiliser in the spray? I do put a little fertiliser in almost every watering 🤔 As for the taco test, it works for some, not for others so I personally prefer to check the soil for moisture. Some Hoya have dried out too much by the time their leaves bend and then their roots will get dry-rot (they got to dry and rot when they are watered). If the soil has a lot of air pockets, like with tree fern fibre, Hoyas can take a lot of watering, as long as theres no water in the bottom of the cover pot. Where they are from, South-East-Asia they get rained on often (if not daily) so they looooove water 😊 Your Hoyas look good, so your care routine seems to work wel for them! 🌸🌱
Thanks so much for the comment 🌱 I just googled minibelle - super cute name btw - and you’re right! It looks like it 🍀 I’ve got a lot of Hoya in Pon as well… It retains quite a bit of moisture ✨
Plants are so amazing don’t you think? They grow well in so many environments, subtrates etc And we get to try it all out and enjoy them! 😊 And then Hoyas can even flower and smell great to top it all off
