To get back to these days would be wonderful. My sisters and I, when we were in our 30’s and 40’s, would sing at a lot of Christian conferences -- just for women. Often those times would be attended by hundreds of women. There is nothing like being with other women who are like minded. We met many and made lasting friendships that are to this day. This video reminded me of those days. We came home refreshed but so emotionally tired --but that was good!!!! So glad you had a couple days with each other!!!!!

This was wonderful Priscilla, I loved the trip and the places looked lovely. I especially love fireplaces for being snuggly warm and cozy. The pastry looked so delicious. You got some darling things on your thrift shopping. I love to do that as well. I am glad you got out with the girls and had some fun and chill time and got to visit and share some good conversation with your friends......all we girls need that from time to time. I loved all of your video so much (or should i say, all of your videos).. the trip for your friend's birthday, the places you went to, the thrifting, showing us your finds. It was such a sweet little adventure. I also bought some sharp knives recently for the same reason. They were on sale. It got so hard cutting through things without me even realizing it. And when i first used one of them it was such an aha moment. It cut so smoothly like through butter. And I adore your leather jacket, it really fits you very well. And your and your daughter's dresses are really beautiful. I do love how warm-hearted you are and how loving you are towards your kids. How thoughtful and kind you are. And i like how you narrate us through the video. Thank you for this video! It was fun watching you go thrifting! I live for a good thrift store, I love to find name brand for soo cheap! It is so refreshing to see you shop for modest apparel it can be so hard to find. I love to wear leggings and tshirts at home but of course can’t wear that out and about! I wish more companies would take modesty into consideration when designing their clothes modesty can be so cute and so nice! Thank you for also putting that into consideration for your children as well! I wish my parents would have taught me to dress modestly as a child/teenager I probably wouldn’t have had such a hard time with it as an adult!

About 15 years ago I found a 12" Wusthof chef knife for 75 cents. It's my most favorite one and my husband keeps it razor sharp. The dresses are so pretty! Love the jacket too.

...a duvet cover is so nice....get a down comforter and put inside the duvet....you'll think your almost in Heaven (on Earth)....lightweight warmth....heavenly!..... Also, look into getting Cutco knives...you'll spend a bit more but you'll NEVER regret the purchase....Cutco is so good to their customers...if a knife dulls a " rep" will come to your home and sharpen all of them....I purchased hunting knives one Christmas for my son, husband, and son in law...they love them! The knives hold they're edge as they skin the wildlife, etc...I've purchased garden clippers and I mailed them to be sharpened, I was sent a new pair...just lots of good things about Cutco...love your blog....blessings from our Great God once again....
