I’m so glad to see someone else talks to a cat like there is another person in the room! My husband often hears me talking to someone and thinks I’m on my phone but no, it’s the cats🤣. Hope you feel better. Take care 💚

Bed, a good book and warm hot water bottle are the best things for back pain. I have degenerative disc disease and find distracting myself is great medicine. Hope you feel better very soon! 🍂🧶 P.s. - Mia is too funny. I think she thinks you live in her house. 😄

I hope your back is feeling better. A sore back is no fun! I have to say that Mia is quite the character. She makes me laugh the way she saunters in as if she owns the place, like an actor owns the stage of a play. She's quite the star!

I loved seeing the old family photos recognized the background of the Castlegate in Aberdeen in one . I lived at 34 Castle Street till I was around 7. Sitting in Heathrow, 3 hour delay on our flight back to Houston because the day isn’t long enough already!!! Hope your back is better today

Gorgeous video Ali. Is there anything better than going through old photos. You look so much like your beautiful Mum. I do Barre class a few times a week, using a ballet bar and resistance bands. I absolutely love it despite having zero hand, feet or eye coordination. Cheers Chris 🇦🇺😁

Ali, had witche’s feet like that but out of cloth. Used to put them next to something as if that item had “fallen” on the witch, just like in the movie. Cheers!

I concur with adding back the owl print. I pulled a thigh muscle a while back while in a combo ballet Pilates class. It took me months to recover 😢. Praying it's much, much quicker for you.

Hey Ali, One of my favourite parts of your vlogs is when you take yourself off to bed very early. You are usually in bed before 7pm all cosy and warm and either reading or doing your craft work. I dont know why i find that comforting but i do. Going to bed early to just relax is like a special treat. I have noticed that you are becoming more active like doing your ballet class, at home work outs and your daily walks. Is this something you want to do for fitness and mental health well being or is it because you feel you need to do it. Just wondering. Anyway loving the vlogs as always. Its such a joy spending time with you all. Please give Mia a little cuddle from me. Mia is a lovely highlight to your vlogs as well as the ladies in the coop. 🐔

Sending hugs! Mia is such a sweet cat-and she loves her second home. Cats definitely have minds of their own, and you have been adopted. Not having any other pets at your house (besides your hens) is a plus. Your hens looked lovely. Their feathers are doing so well. No sweaters needed for winter.

Hightlight of day 8...Mia's purring. All my furbabies used to love a box regardless of size..."If I fitz, I sitz". Sir Radley, my black floofy Overlord, looks at me as if I've insulted all his ancestors and questions what I want him to do with a box made of cardboard. You just can't get the staff these days. 😂😂😂 Love the music you used at the begining of the video, nice and relaxing.Hope your back is a bit easier. See you later today. (It's 4.05am and I've woken up coughing and spluttering. Hey ho.) 😊

When I went through perimenopause I COULD NOT USE THE PINK Maybelline mascara which I had used for years. My eyelids and undereyes would break out. Red and rough skin. I even bought a new one. I could use the Maybelline non waterproof mascara. Thank you for posting Vlogtober. You and your family keep me company during dinner.

Oh my, and you keep saying that you don't have a cat! Mia has definitely adopted you, whether you like it or not and hearing her purr when she is sitting behind your camera is so soothing and peaceful! Mia really feels at home with you and that is lovely! And I LOVE your Vlogtober videos. It's so nice to follow you around as you go about your day! That road you took us on reminds me of an American friend of mine. We were going from Glastonbury to Tintagel and she saw what distance that was so she was convinced that it would take us about an hour to get there. She clearly didn't know the roads here! It took us 4 hours along the north coast! I love those little roads though. They are so atmospheric and peaceful! Thank you for taking us along yours!

As an adult ballet dancer (I only took up ballet 9 years ago), I found that when you’re in class you really don’t think of anything other than the exercises you are doing…it’s a great stress reliever…can also relate to back and performis tightness…I usually cross my leg over my other knee when I’m sitting so my leg is in an L shape and hinge forward a bit (also an exercise my physio told me to do cos I sit at my desk all the time for work)…stretches that muscles so well…my chiro also told me my back aches were extended from my hips, so once I started managing that, all my back aches become less and less! Love that Mia just decides she’ll be on camera no matter what you’re doing…happens when I’m FaceTiming my sister all the time, her cats decide now is the time they want to sit on the table…in front of the camera 😂

Oh no pain is just so inconvenient. Can sure do without it. I hope your aches and pains are all better very soon. Cat in the box😂😂😂. Our big old tom cat has one good size box in the living-room with 3 or 4 sheets of that amazon crinkly packing paper and that is Mr Mini’s favourite napping spot. Cats and boxs 😂😂😂. Great vlog again. Sorry about your PF. My husband had that last year. Took it 2 days after I came home from a total knee replacement. And we had a new 5 month old border terrier puppy. Thankfully he was retired ( both are). As he is not good with being unable to rush about it all became about his leg and not me recovering.🙈🤪He’s well none but needs to be careful. If he feels it starting he does exercises. You take care xx

Hi Ally, ice your back…I agree that heat “feels” better but when my back gets pains like that my chiropractor says ice for 20 mins at a time, as much as possible, to get rid of swelling/inflammation and lots of walking to keep things loose and consider getting adjusted. Hope you get to feeling better quickly!

Bit of a random request 😂 - but sometime please could you show us what a really fresh egg looks like when you break it? I'm not convinced that the ones that come with my grocery delivery are as fresh as I'd like, they certainly don't have a plump bit in the white, but I've never had an egg that was newly laid. I have sciatica.Dont know ud told u or other tuber.I freeze my back w ice cubes wrapped in paper towels or plastic baggie till it freezes and then i can move around .Take Advil that helps too. Take care ❤️ b safe . just try and chill a little..nite

The piriformis is a devious little muscle isn’t it!! How can something that’s about the size of a small pear cause so much agony?! If I know I’m going to have trouble sleeping I take a proper Piriton. Obviously not the non drowsy type 😂 Keep stretching and hold them for as long as you can.
