Amanda, I needed to hear your voice today.....my husband passed away yesterday (Sunday) from Cardiac Arrest and cervical spine fracture. On vent. Thursday was the day he fell in the yard, he never knew what happened. Sunday 4:30AM hospital called that he was getting close..when I got to the hospital we decided to remove the vent, he died within 5 minutes. So I know you know how it's so so sad and I can't seem to get things done here at home and I must as visitor's coming in. I'm so lost. Something about your voice truly makes me calmer. You've done a wonderful, calming, relaxing video. Keep doing this for awhile. Thank you for being YOU!!

You’re so not alone ❤️ I know the shame. I have been helping my parents for 4-5 years. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 18 years ago, but I got to keep him until January 22. this year. I miss him every day. Sidetracked sorry. After my father died, all of a sudden I had time (sleep - energy) I discovered FlyLady and I am taking it one step at a time. I watch these videos to be motivated when I rest. Life is better with a clean home ❤️ Best wishes.

I moved away from Prescott two years ago and really miss it. My mom is still living there and I was back there last October when my dad passed away. Although it was a very difficult time, seeing the trees changing colors and it feeling like fall made me miss it even more. My husband and I will be flying out there for Christmas and I can't wait. I have many fond memories over the past 18 years that my parents lived there waking up at their house on Christmas morning to a white Christmas. Growing up in Southern California we did not have snow on Christmas but once they retired to Prescott we had several years like that. 🍁🍂🌨️❄️☃️🎄

Hi Amanda - I am South African but currently living and working in Milan Italy. I am home in Johannesburg for a couple of weeks and enjoying time with friends. I am struggling a bit because everyone thinks it’s so glamorous and exciting living overseas and it does have its advantages but I am so lonely. So I can attest when you say that people can have one idea of your life but the reality is so different. This is just the peaceful calm video I needed today. Today would have been my best friend's 51st birthday. I am missing her and honoring her memory. It's also the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. I remember this day like it was yesterday, in my previous office building and sadly I saw the WTC buildings hit and fall. RIP to those who passed and those affected on this tragic day. Never forgotten 🙏🏼 A real life moment in my home is hair on the floor. I clean all the time top to bottom but with long hair it's every where 🙈🤷🏽‍♀️TFS Amanda. I have noticed over the years that it "always gets done!" The chores, the cooking, the cleaning, the shopping, family events, etc. Everything has a place, and everything in it. Also eliminating alot during a move helped emensley!!!

I work from home, no kids, it's just me, my honey and our extremely spoiled and ancient kitty (he's 25 and is fully intending to outlive me despite being mostly blind at his age!) Yup! Clean sheets night is the best! I do always make my bed each morning (except wash day) and keep the house picked up. Does so much to make me happy and peaceful. A clean kitchen before bed is also a must. Love coming down to a kitchen with no mess or dirty dishes in the sink. Recipe looks so yummy. Thanks for the motivation!

It's finally cooling off a little here in Tennessee, in the 80's. The trees aren't changing colors here yet. It seems sometimes like I'm always cleaning but I'm very grateful for those that I clean after!!!

I had gotten off track of which of your videos I've been watching and rewatching 😂so I commented on a 5 year old video. But I will thank you everytime, for your amazing evolutions of motivating videos. I couldn't express enough how much you help! Feeling overwhelmed happens on a daily and being able to hop in here for some motivation is a wonderful thing. I too miss Utah, but Texas is also great. After a stressful day, I look forward to coming home having dinner and tidying up a bit and hop in bed and watch your channels. It's so therape6and relaxing. I certainly need to be motivated to declutter my home! We have lived here for over 20+ years, so we have acquired way too much and it’s totally overwhelming to me!! I don’t even know where to begin! The leaves are just barely starting to turn here, but when they do, it is gorgeous where I live. I am just now getting my decor up and am loving it. When I was growing up, my mom never put laundry in a basket. She folded it right out of the dryer. When I became the head of my own household (my first apt and then married to a home) I carried that on. I have never one time in 42 years with my hubby ever taken clothes from the dryer and popped them into a basket. Our dryer is in the basement so I fold, place in basket and bring up to disperse. We raised 7 children doing that and it is one habit I have never regretted. No wrinkles and no baskets with wadded clothes laying around waiting for me.

Hi, I am so glad that u finally tried folding yer clothes in these different methods... I wrote 2 u in a message that when u try folding this way u will never go back because it is also entertaining and when it is all done it just makes u happy... some people call it the pocket method. u can do this with the kids clothes and teach them as well and it will make life easier and save lots of time... I literally fold EVERYTHING this way, socks, undergarments etc... I cannot tell u how glad I am I learned this method !!!!!!

Although I come by it honestly on my dad’s side, I’m horrible about piling things on any flat surface like the kitchen table, coffee tables, kitchen counters, etc. I’ve been on a mission to get everything cleared off & telling myself “no more piles”! Bad thing is sometimes it works but when it doesn’t I get so frustrated with myself that Im letting things pile up again. I agree with you on the calmness of having the kitchen and bedroom clean & organized. I’ve been on a whole house decluttering mission and I can tell how much more relaxed I am when I get a room, or even an area, clean, organized, & decorated just the way I imagined I wanted it to be!

I love clean sheets as well and nothing is better than taking a shower just before bed and climbing into clean sheets. It’s not quite fall here yet but with highs in the 90’s I’ll take it.

Agreed about slowing down. I am retired and have been taking yoga twice a week. It so much has helped me slow down breathe and relax more. I was never a believer in it but after doing it a year I find myself using the breathing techniques without even thinking about it. Life goes by too fast. Continue on your journey.

I feel so much better watching!!! We litterally have darkness here everyday! Powercuts for up2, 10hours a day! But we learn to live with it and make the best with what we’ve got🙏

My real life moment is dog hair collecting in corners, under furniture, or anywhere else that the robot vacuum can’t reach. I don’t like cleaning, and I hired a weekly service when my I worked full-time at an office. When COVID hit, I had to start cleaning myself while working from home. It was a steep learning curve, but I’ve learned that housework can be relaxing and therapeutic, if you have the right attitude about it. The pumpkin squares sound really good and I need to try them.

Hi Amanda! The leave are just starting to turn in some of the trees around here, and temps are dipping into the low 50’s at night. I share your love for clean sheets,especially if I’ve had a chance to hang them outside. Ummm…nothing better. Have a good week and make sure to take a few minutes for you.
