Jesus, Mary and Joseph, What's wrong with them!!!Never in my life would I or anyone with a conciensce do this. IS this around the Bachleor Grove area, because there is a pond or bog. They had something similar in San Antonio, but not like this.

It's so tragic that this person was suffering so badly that he took his own life, and these boys were out partying with the body??? No one reported him missing. I find that really sad. I hope he is resting in peace.

Yeah Im sure you knew them personally.🙄 If I was a young guy who hung out in the woods & had guns dont know how likely Id be to go rushing to report a dead guy with 2 bullet wounds found where I hang out either. When I was in high school (90s too) there was a guy murdered by a lake that a lot of ppl from that high school went to see (and I mean a lot of ppl from that high school, some where going out there to look during lunch break) for a week or two before the police were informed.

I was so excited to hear you say Mercer, WI. Dad loved to fish so we vacationed at Spider Lake a few times when I was a kid. Beautiful scenery, and the bluegill almost jumped onto my cane pole. Dad caught a big walleye right off our dock. He talked about that big fish for years. Ahhhhhh, Mercer. God's country!

My dad and mom brought us kids on vacation to Mercer Wisconsin. One of my favorite memories. I do remember fishing and catching Bluegill and logs burning in the fireplace in the cabin at night at Santa Domingo Resort. It was peaceful and beautiful up there

That was one disturbing story. I'd keep a suspicious eye on those teens that kept such a morbid secret. Poor man, nobody close enough to call him in missing. To lay out there so long. SMH.

They didnt really keep it much of a secret though, sounds like ppl just didnt believe them at first. Remember when I was in high school (in the 90s also) a guy had gotten murdered a few towns over & a lot of ppl from that high school were going out to the lake to see his body. This went on for at least a week or two. Cant remember if the police got led to the body first or if the family reported the guy missing? He was from the town where he was murdered/where his body was but was living in the city (where we all met up at older friends apartments there to go to clubs & parties- ppl from my town, his town & other surrounding towns) rt next to it & was kidnapped from his apt & his car was torched. A friend of mine had a huge crush on the guy that torched the car, he wasnt there when the guy was murdered/kidnapped. He was roommates with my boyfriend at the time- I was from one town, friend & boyfriend were from another & his roommate was from the town where the murder hapoened & had graduated from the high school there a year before all this happened. Think I still have all the local news reports recorded on VHS that my friend insisted I record for her. We didnt know 2 of the ppl that were responsible for the kidnapping/murder (a couple- man & woman that was about 5 or so years older than us) & had only been around the other guy a few times when he showed up places with bfs roommate. None of us knew the victim, not even any of our other friends from that town/school. No need to keep an eye on them

In England you are classed as an adult at eighteen, so I find it unacceptable to call these low lives “kids”.. it is despicable behaviour to have not reported that poor man once they discovered his dead body..I really enjoy the history behind these stories, thank you for taking the time to put out these videos 😎👍

In my old nieghbourhood there was a kid about a year older than me who went down a different path where he got involved in drugs and trafficking drugs and such for years as well as couple of his brothers as well. I think they were able to get out of that lifestyle but sadly he didn't. He ended up dead from an overdose and they found his in a wooded lot behind a shopping centre. Very tragic.

Such a sad story. The callousness of those kids (at the time I was of a similar age and in college) is just shocking. I did my share of partying then, but I know of no one who would have done something like that. I pray Dennis's soul has found peace.

This was my godmother brother. There is way more to the story than what has been told and possibly not a suicide. He was tormented by his love for his children and love for another woman to this day the family doesn't believe he took his own life.

Sorry about the cut off! As I was saying, he was a tormented soul and that alone would bring someone to take their own life…it happens a lot because they can’t get past their anguish and pain. I have heard stories from people who have lost friends or relatives this way because of heartbreak and depression. It really isn’t hard to believe, and in this case there was a suicide note as well. If the investigation was properly done, then the conclusion would be suicide no? Disbelief sadly equals non acceptance of reality. RIP Dennis…

KAREN TUCKER you are right because serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer had a VERY LOVING NICE dad and stepmother who raised him and had NO IDEA what he was doing. Jeffrey turned his back on his parents and did not visit or see them for years before he died. He never appreciated what they did for him!! I saw them on LARRY KING LIVE. GOD BLESS the DAHMER'S.

Sad that he was so alone that no one reported him missing. Glad his ex girlfriend did not meet him but would have thought she might report him missing . Sad case for sure. I pray for the young man who lost his life, his family, friends and community and the teens whose lack of a moral compass brought pain to a heartbreaking situation. I think that is a very ancient, sacred grove so it makes sense that it seems haunted and 'dark'. That poor man is probably not the first that this sacred, ancient place has seen in its long existence.

We had trees cut on our land and three out of four were black in the inside, looks just like they were burnt out. These were more common in the oak trees.

You came on early Ron..Yep we are having a whopper of a storm here on the west coast, that atmospheric river is pushing in..High winds, and up to 6 inches of rain in some areas..Thank goodness we came home when we did from Tahoe, they are expecting 1 to 2 foot of snow up there..Stay safe

@@FacesoftheForgotten No snow Ron, just a downright down-pour all day..Heavy rains, we had a couple landslides on the highways here, a lot of down trees, plus a lot of low area flooding, we've had 4 inches of rain already in San Francisco alone, a lot of street flooding and road closures..Heck of a storm here, we havent seen anything like this here in ages..No snow in Tahoe City until after midnight into tomorrow 3-6 inches were our cabin is and above 8,000 ft 1-2 foot. Hope the rains aren't to bad in Chicago and the burbs..Take care Ron

I worked for quite a few municipalities and park districts. After working at them for many many years I have found out parks and walking trails are not only used for fun, many terrible things happen in them and no one really finds out because its not front page sruff. Lots and I mean lots of suicides, kidnappings, rapes, cheating. One time a guy left a suicide note on his car window, we all had to walk to woods to try and find him. Another time a kid told people at school he was going to hang himself and instead of telling the teachers they came to see if he did it, and he did.. i saw a bunch of kids near a place not know for people to be, i drove over and asked what they were doing and the kid told me, a few min later the cops are rolling up, I'm glad i didn't get to see the kid hung in the tree.. Every time I walked the woods I would be worried I'd see someone dead. Luckily I never did. But I saw lots of other crazy things. My kids don't go to parks alone.

That occurred 30 years ago. The trees could have been burned from the bonfires by the teens. Grass will grow back to the point where you never knew there was a fire.

That must have been a oldhome stead with the willow trees marking it as a homestead. Willows were commonly planted in old cemeteries.

The reason those willows have be hit so much, is that willows have a much higher moisture content than almost all other North American trees, and actually act as nature's lightening rods. Considering it's in the middle of a bog/field it is no wonder they have extensive damage.
