As a teenager, my friend and I sneaked out of the house, I believe Larry in his van around 1-3 AM saw us and we hid. He kept circling the alley. We ran so fast to my house. The fastest I have ever ran in my life! Looking back we could have been his victims 😢
@@FacesoftheForgotten Goodness me...That bloke looks evil. Larry Hall. Even before you said what he's done, his appearance alone- the dead, 'black' eyes..Horrible.
Is Larry still alive? I bet he did bury the bodies somewhere….Maybe in the cemetery, maybe not but he knew how to dig and bury. What a creepy thing!! Thank you Ron! Once again, this is a very interesting story and it would be interesting to check out those graves dig by them just to see if there are bodies hid in existing graves…..Thank you again! 😊-Nina
There was a couple in Mississippi that owned a florist shop. They lived across the street from a cemetery. At night, they would walk across the road and steal the flowers from the fresh burials and resell them. Well, one night, their wood frame house caught fire, and they both perished.
You know he's a monster!! With his family being in the trade, he would know how far to dig down to bury a woman's body. So those missing women may be in the cemetery buried in grave plots of other people. Just a thought. kind of scary to think about! Thank you Ron for sharing! Stay safe!❤
That is a great theory. That wouldn't be hard for him to do. I wonder why it hasn't been followed up on. However, depending on where reenactments were located, how would he get the bodies back to the cemetery?
@@Joy-TheLazyCatLady that's a good question! I don't really know the story that well, I haven't watched the movie or read the book. But, he did have a van and if his family still lived in the cemetery he would know when there was a burial. I don't know, it was just something that popped in my brain!
@@mimig5357 a van would work. As long as no one saw him put the body in the van he'd be able to transport it. He could dig up an old grave, put the body in, cover it back up and try to make it look older. He had time because no one was looking for him yet. Maybe his parents knew but never said anything.
Hi Ron, that cemetery was so nice, very well maintained and the head stones were so clean. I didn't know about this story, Larry was a real sicko. My heart breaks for all the innocent women that he killed. I hope they have found peace. RIP. Take care Ron.
The head stones are definitely not clean. The first section Ron walked through, those Snead stones needs a good cleaning. I clean stones, I should know
Strange story Ron, I was around 13 when I used to help my dad dig graves in royersford PA and man that was some scary stuff. Enjoyed the story keep em coming Ron.
Here is a crazy thought, if this Larry was as well versed in graves as you say , then it would be easy for him to dispose of the bodies in a fresh grave, no one would think to dig up a new grave to look for his victims.
Would not surprised if Larry buried those girls in the cemetery, possibly in open grave his dad dug prior to a burial! How hard would it of been for Larry to climb down into an open grave, remove some more dirt and then the service be the next day and the casket put down there on top of the victim and no one be the wiser? Might also explain why he would disclose the whereabouts of any of the girls. He might have feared they would of assumed his father was invloved in the disposing of the girls.
Im thinking they probably dug 8ft down, threw a body in, covered it up before the new casket got put in at 6ft mark, so the hole was already dug for the deceased and just had to dig a little deeper for another body. Would make more sense than digging up an old grave and taking the chance of family or someone asking why. Who knows though but the cemetery makes the most sense especially since they lived there. They would have all night to do shady things since the cemetery would be closed at night to the public
Knocked it out of the park this time Ron ❤❤ I’m going to research this guy as I’ve never heard of him. RIP to his parents and to all the victims he murdered 🙏🏼🙏🏼
My comment vanished. 😖 This man was a Monster. So if he could open up graves to steal jewelry, he could also open them up to dump in bodies. 😮 Thanks Ron. 😊 Be well. Be safe 🙏
Wow this story is similar in a way to one that happened back in 1746 in Angus Scotland, the grave digger after digging the graves would come back at night open them and take any valuables.
I always wondered if jewelry was stolen after the families and funeral directors leave the cemetery. Who knows what happens when the grave digger lowers the coffin and covers up the grave.
I was just going to ask this. My mom passed two years ago. After her internment the funeral director gave my sister and I her jewelry she had on. I wondered if people were buried with their jewelry still on decades ago?
This is why, before the pallbearers get the loved one, we in our family, always had their jewelry removed and split it up amongst loved ones. It kept their body safe from being dug up. The people who prep your loved one at the funeral home, can get the rings off with a mere thread without harming the finger at all. No matter how tight. Trick of their trade.
There are some right sick individuals amongst us Ron and he certainly fits that bill. Evil to his core. Those poor young women and their families , you wouldn’t get over that happening to your daughter. Great episode Ron, keep them coming and hello from 🏴
Talk about having a black sheep in the family! I did look him up and saw he spent his first days after being born in the NICU (Neonatal ICU) as he was starved of oxygen in the womb, his twin ‘feeding off him’ - kind of the umbilical cords getting fused and then supplying one twin much more than the other. He likely had brain damage from that today would’ve been treated as a special needs individual. It’s no excuse for what he did but you do wonder if it would’ve turned out differently had he been given a different life. The FBI suspect him in 40-50 murders and disappearances, many times he confessed then recants the confessions, tell the police he put them here or there but nothing is ever found. Maybe he made them up or actually doesn’t remember and is mixing dreams with reality - I do know a guy who also was starved of oxygen in the womb and his memory is like this.. unusable to put it kindly. So even if Larry does say anything, you can’t really tell if he actually did do it or just dreamt it up.
Just watched your update on Halloween , looking forward to it! The Wisconsin property is gorgeous! I enjoyed seeing all the animals crossing your bridge!
Oh my God this is a really sick and twisted story ,but on a positive note that looks like a pretty cemetery 🪦🪦 I showed my aunt here in Rhinelander , your episode from this morning and she said she saw you on the Wausau channel news, which is pretty cool of course, I live in Oshkosh so I wasn't up there at the time when all that was going on very cool. I'll be back for your October episodes .safe travels Ron ❤
Okay very interesting story! First time heard! Low life's for sure and I hope we do find out more! Thank you Sir and Have a wonderful day to You and the Gang!
I am going to watch the movie! Thank you, I watch ( all) your videos, and I appreciate you sharing the respect that you give the victims. Your work is inspiring to me, to do more for others. You are a hero for donating your own time and resources to solve unsolved homicides. This guy sounds like a true psychopath.
I think stealing from the dead happened a lot back then, before they were even buried. I remember when my grandmother died my parents made sure to take her rings because they told me people steal them. Being raised in the cemetery environment this guy had a lot of inside information. Like what graves were bought but never occupied and most likely never would be. Maybe divorce or something after the graves were bought later left one or both empty. So, he could have very well used those to bury these women. I mean, who would ever think to look in a cemetery for them? And even if you do, where do you even start? It's just a shame these poor victims lost their lives through such an evil act. May they all RIP ❤ 💐
Of course those girls are buried in the cemetery. Larry sounds like a real winner.....😳 I always thought if a persons jewelry was going to get stolen off of their dead body, it was taken before they were buried. I do think there are underhanded people out there who would dig up a body to rob it. Its a sad world.
Hello again Ron! Interesting story with the complexity of what the father did by introducing his sons to a morbid act of digging up the dead. no wonder Larry hall went full blown killer, death was descentized and by the father's actions and made to be acceptable. Honestly, the path was established early on with both sons. The families of those 22 girls I feel so terrible that the families were strung along for years. Closure, was necessary for the mothers to move on with their lives as well. Thank you, Ron. For bring us this story. Again, thank you so much. Be safe on your travels.
He's believed to be the one that killed Tricia Reitler, from Marion, Indiana. Up near the college. He confessed then recanted and would never tell where her remains are😢 this happened in 1993.
I Think The Police Were Investigating Him For The Springfield Three Case! Three Women Went Missing In Springfield Mo In 1992 or 1993 Have Never Been Found!
Dang Ron, I hunted down the series called “Black Bird” and my wife and I started binge watching it. Real sick puppies I’ll say and this is true! My wife likes that kind of stuff me not so much I suppose it’s because I saw so much heinous stuff as a cop. Anyways thanks for the tip on the show.
It sounds like he was wired wrong to begin with, and then how he grew up twisted him even further into a monster. I feel bad for the family that remains. It's tainted their lives too. Thank you, Ron. This was fascinating. I hope someone on here has some good theories.
I am a Civil War reenactor and have been since 1990. When this story broke it spread like wildfire through the reenactor community on the East coast. He attended many re-enactments that I attended. I didn’t know him but I know they investigated the events and many were the same ones I was at.
Hi Ron, it seems so good to have you back, always enjoy your walks and stories. This one is especially sad and horrible. If the dad dug the graves for the cemetery and he had his sons help him, it didn’t really have to be that he reopened the graves to steal things, he probably was an honest man or I’m sure he’d have been fired, and I feel like his one son was a good boy, but was he Larry? He didn’t turn out so good, maybe it was helping dig graves that turned him kind of creepy or what, the story reminds me of Ted Bundy, but instead of a VW he drove a creepy van, but I would guess that every one of those girls are buried in a grave that was newly dug at the time, the dirt would be soft and all Larry? would have to do is dig it back up and put the girl in the grave that is new, that’s what I think happened. BTW Happy Labor Day Ron, love your videos ❤
Wouldn't it be nice if they did some ground work and found those missing girls bringing closer to the families also happy labor to you all over there 🎉🎉🎉🎉from England 🇬🇧 😊 xx
Hi Ron I was just thinking that maybe the girls are buried in graves they shouldn’t be in or if he dismembered them and put them in graves they shouldn’t be in. I love your stories they are so interesting I try to follow as much as I can.
I could see where he probably buried the girls in the graves that he dug up to rob. That would make it very difficult to find, because it would just look like the original grave.
Have a "HAPPY LABOR DAY" Ron.!!🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 A sad & horrible story.! Keep safe always while your traveling in a different states.! Fr. North Hollywood, California.!😊
He could have buried the victims in the cemetery either underneath other bodies or on top of other bodies or maybe even in the coffins with other bodies
